Rooms are clean, breakfast included was good value, staff are friendly and helpful. Location is 5 min walk to the bus stop that would take you to the main station. I would stay here again if I come back to Bern.

The Waldhorn staff were friendly and knowledgeable, helping make the most of each day. The free coffee and apples were great. Easy (and beautiful) walking distance to swim entry points for the Aare as well as the old town. Great meals at the Lebanese restaurant up the block, and the Kornhauskellar over the bridge.

The hotel is undergoing a full renovation so services are limited, but very good. Our room was redone elegantly and had a lovely design. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Very clean & convenient

Very clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good quality continental breakfast (the same for all days but that really wasn’t a problem). About a three minute walk from the Victoriaplatz tram stop but it’s only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Bern if you’re feeling energetic. Get the tram back though as it’s uphill !! Alternately it’s a ten minute walk to the Rosengarten for that perfect view of Bern. The room was immaculate but could be a little bigger - but what do you expect from a capital city centre hotel? If you’re looking for a slightly cheaper alternative to being right in the centre then this is throughly recommended.

This hotel is not far from town center. Two stops by tram from town center, and less than 10 min from center. The hotel staff is very friendly. Hotel provides coffee and fruits in the hall. Highly recommend this hotel.

Parking was inside their hotel, immaculate rooms, receptionist spoke English and gave us free passes for bus service and advice about things to see in Bern. Friendliest receptionist we dealt with in Switzerland.

The staff was super nice and welcoming. There is coffee and tea for free at the reception and I also got a water bottle for free in the room. The tram station is very close, but you can also walk to the center.

Traveling by car so it was convenient to have onsite parking….. but a very unique way of parking. Rooms are quite small but comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Within a block of a bus stop which gets you to the heart of the Old City in less than 5 minutes - buses run very frequently
