We had a great stay at the hotel overall—accommodation staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful. However, the experience with the restaurant staff, especially during breakfast, was disappointing.
From the beginning, it felt like we were being ignored. The lady at the billing counter saw us, said she would bring water immediately, and then never followed through. We repeatedly had to call someone else just to place an order or get basic service like water. On one occasion, I ordered a breakfast item along with a cappuccino and chai—neither of the drinks ever arrived. When I expressed my disappointment while settling the bill, I was met with a cold, indifferent response and no apology at all.
The entire experience made us feel unwelcome and even looked down upon, possibly due to our appearance—at least that’s how it felt. It's unfortunate, as it strongly contrasted with the otherwise excellent service provided by the rest of the hotel staff.
