My family stayed at Hotel Nikolai Residence for just about two weeks over Christmas and New Year's Eve. We are a family of four - my husband, myself, our 12-year old son and 16 year old daughter. We knew we'd be there a fairly long time and wanted as much space as possible so we rented the largest available room, which allowed us all to have our own space. It was very clean and very comfortable. I was very happy to find that there were more than enough pillows and blankets. Housekeeping came daily and did a great job. We checked in after reception hours, and it was seemeless. We stopped in at the reception desk the next day and the man there was very friendly and helpful. The area is absolutely ideal. If you're looking to sight-see in Berlin, this is the place to be. Many highlights are in easy walking distance, and public transit in Berlin is excellent. Many great dining options, and Museum Island is a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are well insulated against noise. We were there over NYE and despite the constant fireworks all night, the sound level was very low. Highly recommended - I'd stay there again

This was a quiet, clean and very enjoyable place to stay. We had a lovely room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was so convenient to walk to the main attractions and railway station. I would recommend this hotel and is particularly suited to couples.

Firstly and most importantly, the staff are lovely and helpful. The location is excellent for walking or public transport, with several stations nearby you can’t go wrong. The hotel is small, so make sure you have some breakfast plans elsewhere, it aside from that, perfect size, excellent location and definitely staffed with friendly folks.

This was a great hotel for our first time in Berlin. The restaurant suggestion was spot on. We walked to Museum Island and stopped in a few shops. Parking was secure and close by.

Perfect 5 stars for accommodating our whole family so well! I also realize we were there on the hottest day, but there is not AC that we could find in the room, just fans. Also, we saw laundry on the listing, but they don't have a laundry facility on site, they can just do it for you within 2 days. Nothing dropped my rating, just helping future bookings. The business center was helpful to take calls and have a place to escape to!

It was an absolute delight to stay at this hotel. I cannot think of anything to complain about. Clean, well maintained, accomodating, situated so incredibly beautifully in Berlin, and surrounded by several great local pubs and restaurants, staying here for 4 nights was the highlight of a 3 week trip.
