Good but noisy
Good hostel just bit noisy, a guest was staying in a room across with their dogs. But otherwise service was good

Hi Mariane, thanks for your review.We regret if other guests with dogs have disturbed her, unfortunately it does not depend on us. We always ask the owners of the animals who have been educated to be able to stay in the house or in the hotel, to avoid any inconvenience. Unfortunately, sometimes that’s not the case.

The staff members were friendly and helpful. My room was quiet and clean, just how I liked it. The hostel is close to the train station, and the walk to Città Alta is manageable. I will return.

Nothing fancy but very practical!
The place meets our needs. Good location, practically in the city center close to train station gate city Donizetti theatre sunrrounded by restaurants (specially this one “MareChiaro2.0”- see food good portion and reasonably price). Surely we would stay there again.

Very helpful staff, comfortable room and brilliant location for exploring Bergamo. Only one English language TV Channel and that was CNN. Would definitely stay again!

Pleasant Stay
Staff were nice and helpful. Restaurant/Bistro the food is Very Good. Kind individuals also. Even if you can't stay there because they are full the Bistro is GREAT whether or not it cost more or less. Worth the Money in any case!

Very nice hostel/hotel. Friendly atmosphere. Provides parking for free - although you'd better arrive early to get a space. Otherwise your car may be stuck - it's close to downtown and is right outside the ZTL, so a wrong turn will get you in trouble. Good amenities and dining options! Very convenient!

This hostel was awesome. Clean, loads of facilities, cool decoration and nice bedrooms. Better stay than some of the hotels I stayed in this trip!

Clean and centrally located
Spotlessly clean accommodation in convenient location. I would have liked a hand towel and I found the single bed a bit small but I loved the decor and quirky way the room numbers were painted over the door. All in all a great find.

Super Clean!!
The staff was very kind to help me to book a taxi. The room was super-clean with an incredible size of TV for a hostel. Eating is not allowed in the room. It sounded weird, but might be a good rule to keep the room clean and comfort as possible. I checked in in the evening and left very early morning, so the rule was not a big problem for me. Instead of eating in the room, the guests can use the cafeteria which is also super-clean. When I went there, the service was finished, but there are microwave and bending machine in the cafeteria. Overall, it was quite good hostel stay. Wifi was available only in the wifi area. That was the only demerit.

Great hostel. A single room with bathroom means you could stay in a triple dormitory with private bathroom on your own. Clean sheets and helpful staffs. Just 100m from Porta Nuova. Near to everything. Highly recommend.

Indeed very centrally located
The hostel (this is not a hotel, though they also provide private rooms with attached bathrooms) is excellently located in close proximity to the Bergamo train station (only a short 10 min walk), and the central street in Citta Bassa where you can easily find restaurants and shops. If you wish, you could even walk to the Citta Alta funicular station in about 15 mins, passing by a pleasant neighbourhood on the way. They also provide free breakfast, though that is nothing to scream about as it only consisted of some pastries, bread, milk, juice, coffee/tea and butter/marmalade. Still, it served its purpose. Room and bathroom were clean, no complaints. My single room even came with a small balcony, though I did not use that as it was too cold.

Very good stay for the price!
The reception upon arrival was excellent. They had everything we needed from adapters to iron. Very attentive personnel in the breakfast room! I loved it! The only down side was that the smoking area was close to the lift and stairs and we could feel the smoke from the first floor which was where we staid and as we are allergic that was a really bad feeling. But apart from that, the hotel in overall was very good!

Without doubt the best hostel I've stayed in. Friendly, knowledgeable staff: couldn't be more helpful. Great, central location (sights, transport, restaurants, cafes, etc). Recently refurbished rooms (twin bedded rooms compare with any budget hotel).

Bien en soi mais mal fréquenté
L hôtel en soi est bien; la chambre twin est spacieuse, avec des petits lits bien séparés, plein de prises, sdb correcte. Il y a dans les espaces commun de quoi se réchauffer qqch au micro ondes, un espace où l on peut laisser ses bagages pour 1 euros les 5 heures. Toutes les personnes croisées à la réception sont aimables, ils vendent les billets de bus pour l aéroport et la ville haute. Plein de restaurants et de boutiques à proximité immédiate. Le problème c est les autres: nous avons été réveillés en pleine nuit par un couple au dessus ayant des relations séxuelles très bruyantes, suivi d un bruit bizarre très fort comme si qqn passait l aspirateur, a 2h du matin. Disons que cet hôtel dépanne, mais ne convient pas tout à fait pour un séjour plaisant.
