Great Customer Service

The hotel is located in small community and very quiet. Very nice rooms. We stayed there to tour The Eagles Nest and it was very close. We arrived a little late and they were great about it and hung around until we arrived. We weren’t real late but they showed great customer service. The breakfast bar was really good as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice but pricey.

Very nice. Clean. Good parking. One room had a small balcony without a view other did not. But there are some more cost effective options in the area which were lovely and half the price so we moved on.

If I could give this property more stars, I definitely would! There were 13 family members in our group, and we ALL absolutely LOVED this stop on our epic European trip!! The rooms were the highlight of our experience, as each room opened up into two separate sleeping areas (one of which had a kitchenette). The bathroom was split into two different rooms, with a toilet and sink in one room and a shower and another sink in the other room. Our hotel rooms were so spacious for each of our mini groups that we were actually able to all hang out on one side of one of the rooms, sharing a few drinks together,, watching track and field, and talking about our plans for the following day at Kehlsteinhaus. If we ever travel back to Berchtesgaden, we will DEFINITELY be staying at this quaint, enchanting spot again!! (P. S. The front-desk service was IMPECCABLE!)

Limited access options

Booked with this property and the room was located in a separate building behind the one shown in the pictures. This room looked to be someone's investment apartment that the property rents out on their behalf as it has a main entrance where you can be buzzed in after ringing one of the flats. There were three floors worth of stairs to get to the building and then eventually the apartment/room. There is not enough parking, so they suggest to just find some place down the street wherever you can fit.

Hotelli sijaitsee rauhallisella mutta hieman syrjäisellä alueella. Auto on matkailijalle ehdoton ellei halua viettää koko aikaa hotellin välittömässä läheisyydessä. Nähtävyyksistä kotkanpesä sekä Oberzalsbergin historiasta kertova museo ovat lähellä. Samoin panoramatie, jolle voi ostaa lippuja hotellista. Huoneistomme oli siisti, mutta kaipaisi kipeästi päivitystä. Keittiön varustelu astioiden ja ruoanlaittovälineiden puolesta oli välttävä. Pehmeä sänky takasi huonot yöunet.

Schönes grosses Zimmer mit Balkong. Ruhige Lage.Super Frühstück. 1 kleines Päckchen Duschseife für 2 Personen war etwas dürftig und ist absolut verbesserungswürdig.Ansonsten keinerlei Hygieneartikel. Man konnte mit dem Buss gratis nach Berchtesgaden und Königsee fahren. Leider ging der letzte Buss aus der Stadt 18.15 und für ein Taxi bezahlten wir 22 Euro. Ansonsten nichts auszusetzen.

Pienessä kylässä jossa yksi ravintola. Tämä meille kyllä selkeästi ilmaistiin sisäänkirjautumisessa mutta paikka oli täyteen varattu, kun menimme pöytää kysymään. Vuoristoinen matka lähinnä olevaan pikku kyllään. Lähellä Kotkanpesää joten sopi hyvin reitillemme. Aamupala niukka mutta riittävä.
