Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"The rooms were kept clean, and the linens were changed daily. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, throughout the entire resort. I only wish all restaurants were open to all guests. I personally do not care for buffets and prefer to order off the menu. There were not a lot of Exhale guests using the facility which seemed to be a waste. There was a bit of a mildew smell, but rooms spray helped the issue. The beach view and pools were fantastic! The cushions in the pools needed to be cleaned of debris from the palms... I stayed at Breathless in Jamaica and there was an iPad to control the lights, fans, air and the radio. That would have been an advantage, instead of having download an app on your phone."

"The Pros: Staff were professional, respectful, helpful, and friendly. The food was delicious our favorite restaurant was Spice. The spa was impressive and exceeded my expectations. The pools are large. The Cons: My suite was in need of a remodel. The couch had a couch cover, the decorative pillows were stained, my mattress had a huge dip, the stitching in the sheets were coming loose, the ceiling near the AC unit started leaking one day and caused plaster to crumble and fall. The grout around floor tiles was coming out. The outdoor tub was stained and the water presser to it was a trickle. My curtains were stained, the sliding glass door wouldn’t lock. As a Premiere Customer I was supposed to receive 2 snacks in my room, which I didn’t. The pool towels were thin and had a food odor. Due to the sargassum on the beach everyone was at the pool and the towels ran out. We attended Yoga and there was not enough mats for everyone. There is a lot of construction at the resort causing saw and banging."

"From check in, to the nightly turndown service, to the entertainment and relaxing areas, this resort caters to the side of you that craves to be cared for and spoiled. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. We will stay with Excellence again"

"Nice small resort. Great entertainment - reservations for most restaurants were about an hour for a party of 8, which isn't bad. The hotel should add more staff as they had tables but not enough staff to cover all the tables. On one night only 3 waiters were covering the entire resturant with over 30 tables.... that's hard on the staff."
