Our stay at the President Hotel was subpar! On night one, we encountered multiple baby spiders on the bed sheets, pillow, and headboard. Throughout our stay, we saw more spiders crawling on the wall and in the bathroom. There were spider webs on both of our nightstand lamps as well. After informing the front desk, we were forced to change our own sheets. We even had someone come to the room to spray what seemed to be insect repellent in the corners and on the walls. Additionally, our shower head was partially broken, which could’ve hit someone in the face. The next day, we were able to change our room, which ended up being smaller and on a lower floor than where we were previously. Once we were finally able to speak with the manager, she only compensated us with $38 and drink vouchers, which ended up going unused since we’re not heavy drinkers. The reason for not being compensated more was because our stay was booked through Expedia, which doesn’t seem like a valid reason. You’re simply paying for convenient location if you stay here. We were very dissatisfied with this service and will not be returning. Aside from our bad experience, the breakfast was also not that good, but it was included in our stay. The pool was decent, but very small. The one good thing were some of the staff who were very nice, including the man storing our luggage and the man who checked us out. They improved the experience for us.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Hotel was great and the staff was friendly. We were in the middle of the transition and Charles and his front desk staff helped out immensely. 5⭐️ We got off the cruise with 12 people and they had all our rooms available early. That was extremely helpful. We were all surprised to see the rooms were large and spacious. TV was on a swivel wall mount so we could turn it either way to watch. We got a King Bed Junior Suite with a Sleeper Sofa. Bathroom was very clean and stocked with all the amenities. Rooftop pool was clean and easy to get to. The ground level pool was quiet and more easily accessible. The only thing I was not prepared for was that Miami is extremely humid. That made everything feeling a little damp. It just took a few minutes to get used to it, then I couldn't feel the humidity any longer. Overall, I would definitely come back here the next time we're out in Miami.
