Clean and very kind staff. Very big room. Hotel is on the fourth floor. The hot water didn’t seem to be working, so double check that. Wonderful staff and location. We ate downstairs and the food was tasty-steak and tacos with fresh pineapple juice and ceviche. Safe area We walked the harbor front and took in Belize city culture. Parked our car safely in their lot.

There are no chairs inside the room. The hotel has no signs on the exterior. It was difficult to find. The lobby is on the 4th floor.

Staff was nice but room is oddly furnished with rusting fridge, paint on only chair, funny smell in room, and leaky shower. The hotel is on the 4th floor. Restaurant shown in picture is not part of hotel and only accepts cash.

Guests should know that this hotel is I. The 4th floor, above the casino, in a converted office space. Rooms are large and functional, staff lovely and no character. The park and food stalls across the road are fine. Good for a basic overnight

Suggest to add the Hotel Sign outside. I literally almost thought it was a scam. Good staff, and they are helpful. Often using whatsapp to communicate with. Clean and spacious room. The downside is the location. A little far from the popular area.

Everything was new and the staff were courteous and helpful. However, the taxi driver had a hard time finding the hotel and we didn’t know the hotel was on the 4th floor above the casino. We were told that the signage hadn’t been put up yet. We were right across from the park that had lots of great food booths which was a bonus.

It was my first time visiting Belize and I wanted to stay on the mainland before visiting San Pedro, and the Pickwick was very suitable for me. I could easily walk to different restaurants in the neighborhood, and there is a park across the street that was active and filled with different food stands. The vibe was great. There is also a casino and a very good restaurant on the property too. As for the hotel itself, the room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing missing was a refrigerator and maybe a safe, but everything else was great. The best part of the Pickwick was definitely the staff. They were all so polite and helpful and helped me with arranging a guide to take me to the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins and just driving around, showing me much of Belize City. I will stay at the Pickwick, the next time I visit Belize. 🙂

Booked a night here before heading out to the island, and I’m really glad I chose here. The bed was incredibly comfortable and just what I needed after a long day of travel! It was a quick taxi ride from the airport and wasn’t too far to get to the ferry/water taxi either. The staff were very lovely and super helpful. The restaurant downstairs is very convenient too!

The room was spotless! The hotel staff were so kind and gracious every day. The young lady at the front desk, Andine, made us feel at home immediately. The view from the balcony was lovely. We were there from Sunday, December 21-Saturday December 27th. The hotel has a casino next door on the ground floor while the hotel rooms are on the 4th floor. The casino noises never bothered us and could not be heard on the 4th floor. The Ramada across the street was extremely noisy on our last night there (Friday) but that’s to be expected on a weekend I guess. I doubt we will go back to Belize because we are getting older and have so many other countries to visit! It was the trip of a lifetime for us and we would recommend the Pickwick Parkview Hotel mostly because of the fantastic staff, Andine and the wonderful (I think her name was Claudette) housekeeper. Spotless. The floors looked like glass!
