"Hébergement haut de gamme mais sans service le soir. Pas accès à restaurant en soirée, quelques choix pour service à la chambre mais assez cher (70 E pour une belle planche fromage-charcuterie). Vue incroyable, piscine appréciée. À 10-15 minutes de Pinhao mais avec route sineuse. Déjeuner excellent"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta de la Rosa. The views over the Douro Valley are absolutely beautiful and made for a very relaxing experience. We loved the onsite restaurant and spending time at Tim’s Terrace, both of which made the most of the stunning surroundings. The wine tour and tasting were a highlight, with knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. The property was clean, quiet, and peaceful throughout our stay. A wonderful place to unwind and experience the beauty of the Douro Valley."
Vila Gale Douro Vineyards Hotel

"The site is amazing, with the hotel's buildings scattered artfully across a number of terraces that traverse the steep hillside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and even had a lovely balcony facing the Douro. The big pool was gorgeous and a delight to swim in. Our only meals on site (two breakfasts and one dinner) were buffet-style--perfectly acceptable but nothing special."

"Absolutely amazing stay. Guilherme and Andrea couldn’t have been warmer. Guilherme especially gave some amazing local recommendations and made my birthday very special. Just very warm people. The Quinta itself is very picturesque, high quality and we really liked the mix between high end care and also relaxed ‘at home’ vibe. For example the honesty bar and the local meals from a local restaurant. We felt incredibly comfortable and very happy in our two days here. Truly an experience we won’t forget. Ross and Ivy"

"Absolutely superb and relaxing!! Our stay at Ventozelo exceeded our expectations! The scenery, the staff, the service, the food, our room made for an ideal atmosphere for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We didn’t want to leave! The staff are so kind and warm and took very good care of us. The cantina was one of our favorite spots for dinner and just watching the sun set while drinking wine and listening to their music. We didn’t try the pool but it looked beautiful. We stayed in one of the bubble houses with a patio and our own living room. Beautiful accommodations. It was very easy to stay here and enjoy the wine tour and walk around the property. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we come back."
