"We were there for 2 nights. The room does not have a mini fridge so while searching for a place to store two bottles of beer and lunch food I was told I cannot bring my own food here to make sandwiches for a lunch nor can I drink my two beers on their property because they supply and make their own wine and beer (and expect us to buy their product). They will provide you with lunch however for a ridiculous price of 30 Euros each. I told the custodian who greeted us that if I knew that I would not have booked the property since nowhere on their website does it state these rules. He begrudgingly let me use their kitchen fridge and watched me like a hawk while I drank my beer and made my lunch on the common terrace anyway. I did buy a bottle of their red wine for our two dinners we bought. This person really rubbed us the wrong way."

"Incroyable hôtel pour son emplacement, son personnel attentionné, sa propreté, ses petits déjeuners complets, etc. Malheureusement, un point faible, le matelas dans notre chambre était vraiment trop fermé à notre goût, plutôt dur."

"Hébergement haut de gamme mais sans service le soir. Pas accès à restaurant en soirée, quelques choix pour service à la chambre mais assez cher (70 E pour une belle planche fromage-charcuterie). Vue incroyable, piscine appréciée. À 10-15 minutes de Pinhao mais avec route sineuse. Déjeuner excellent"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta de la Rosa. The views over the Douro Valley are absolutely beautiful and made for a very relaxing experience. We loved the onsite restaurant and spending time at Tim’s Terrace, both of which made the most of the stunning surroundings. The wine tour and tasting were a highlight, with knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. The property was clean, quiet, and peaceful throughout our stay. A wonderful place to unwind and experience the beauty of the Douro Valley."

"The site is amazing, with the hotel's buildings scattered artfully across a number of terraces that traverse the steep hillside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and even had a lovely balcony facing the Douro. The big pool was gorgeous and a delight to swim in. Our only meals on site (two breakfasts and one dinner) were buffet-style--perfectly acceptable but nothing special."
