This is a four-room property we booked for our last night on Tortola. It's near to the airport (walking distance), so we booked it for convenience. We occupied three of the four rooms of the property.
The good:
The hotel is convenient to the airport. There is one restaurant that shares the same property as the hotel (and I believe the same owners) called the Loose Mongoose. It's a cute beach-side place with pretty good food. The rooms did have air conditioning that somewhat cooled the rooms.
The bad:
The Loose Mongoose has entertainment on the weekends and sometime during the weeknights. That entertainment consists of a DJ or a band. Speakers are located about 50 feet from the windows of the rooms. The night we were there, entertainment went until 11:30 p.m. Great if you want to party. Not if you want to sleep.
The rooms are quite shabby. The dark photos misrepresent the actual appearance. The mattresses in two of the rooms we had were old and very soft (bowed in the middle). The third room had two double beds, and those mattresses were fine. Old, non-matching furniture fills the spaces. There are no chairs in the rooms, or anywhere to sit down. The rooms are also void of TVs, but do have small fridges.
All have windows that are made of slats that tip in to open the window. None of the windows in the two rooms I checked functioned. They were partially open always. Toilet paper is crammed in spaces between the window and the frame.
