The first room we were checked into was filthy room 200. The beds had been remade with dirty sheets that had chip crumbs and hair all over them. The floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was a used plastic fork behind the curtain, stains were in the desk chair that looked like bodily fluids, and hair all over the bathroom. Went to the front desk and told them about what we encountered when we got up to the room. There was no apology but they did quickly get us moved to another room. When we got to the second room, room 202, it was cleaner but still pretty disgusting. There was what appeared to be blood on the back of the bathroom door and on the wall, the sofa bed mattress also had blood stains on it, hair was on the floor in the bathroom and, greesey hand prints all over the microwave. I'll be honest if I hadn't prepaid through Expedia I would have asked for a refund. Working in the hospitality industry, I try my hardest not to complain but, the rooms were completely unacceptable. The bathroom door in the pool area wouldn't even close all of the way. When we came down to breakfast the 3 gentleman working were very nice and amazing at keeping the area clean. I will say as a hotel manager I was astounded when the woman that had been working at the front desk came off of the elevator onto the second floor smoking a vape. She also was not dressed professionaly at all with a speghetti strap top on. This property has a lot of potential, hopefully the other issues will be addressed.
