Greatr garden space

Great hotel with nice restaurant and grounds - voulez area, gazebo, pool and lots of picnic tables. Super for our dog. Very close to the motorway exit but not close enough to hear noise. Friendly staff . Would stay here again .

This is a unique hotel in that the lobby, downstairs is made to feel more “homey”. The room was basic and small but had all we needed. Breakfast was fantastic. Large buffet of all local foods and so so good! Parking was very easy in large secured lot attached to hotel.

Quirky, pleasant stay

The hotel feels more like a B&B, quite personalised and homely, but equally a bit basic/thrifty. The food at dinner and breakfast was good and they are proud of their use of local produce. Served us fine for our need.

Stopover

The room was ok for a stopover. Would not have wanted to stay longer than 1 night. The bed was too hot. Might have been what was under the sheet. The shower was terrible. We had to take it in turns so we could hold the shower head up as no attachment to be able to stand up. Would be ok if you showered on your knees. A kettle in the room but no cups or anything else. But on a plus side the staff were very helpful and friendly. The meal in the restaurant was very good. It was adequate but I wouldn't stay there again.

Location and Staff are the only things worth the stay in this hotel. The hotel appears dirty, the carpets are very dirty and stained throughout. Our room had two nearly empty rolls of toilet paper upon our arrival and although they made the bed every morning, they never cleaned the toilets! They advertised a/c but when we asked they said they only turn the a/c on when the temperature gets very hot so we slept with the window opened but with no screen and the property borders a wooded are so we found a few bugs in the room in the morning. They did provide us with a fan. Breakfast is mediocre at best and it is not free. Sorry will not be staying here again although the staff was very friendly but not enough to compensate for the overall condition of the property

Het is een mooi hotel met een bijzondere inrichting. Heel apart, maar wel heel leuk. Het personeel is ook vriendelijk. Wij waren voor de tweede keer hier als tussenovernachting naar huis. Het enige "minpuntje" waren de matrassen. Die waren vlg ons minder dan vorig jaar. Verder was het prima. Het hotel lag ook dicht bij de snelweg, dus ideaal als tussenstop.
