「We always stay at this hotel when we go to Lafayette, but we did not have a good experience this time. We arrived early and we were able to check in so that was nice. The pool was closed so that was disappointing, but it opened the next day. When the pool did open, the water was extremely cloudy with a film. And cleaning staff seemed put out that I left a day early (which I was still charged the full stay) because they had to really clean the room and not just change towels and trash. 「The property was in a great quiet area, however it is very ran down to be a Hampton property. I was very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. It looked likes the original fridge in the room no longer worked so they did replay it but with a bigger version that no longer fit in the designated cabinet so they place it against the wall which was cool, but they didn’t bother to clean the cabinet were the old one was.. you could tell they didn’t even care to clean the elevators, walls, carpet...

However, it seems that a group of people rented some rooms for the weekend so they could use the pool for a pool party. The pool was overcrowded and we could not use it Saturday. It's also had more noise that Friday night.」
