"We regularly travel with a large sports team and this was our all-time favourite tournament hotel. We loved the gazebo outside for team meals and found the staff very accommodating. This is a well-designed hotel, and the proximity to picturesque Ladysmith was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend to teams traveling for tournaments in Nanaimo."
"Our second year in a row staying here while we visit family. This year they were neck deep in Reno’s but the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and all the amenities were still open and available, with everything kept clean and tidy despite drop cloths and partitions put up everywhere.
If we can still have a comfortable, pleasant stay in the midst of all that - we’re already excited to see how the Reno’s turn out when we come back next year!"
"My husband and I had a lovely stay at Wessex Inn for 3 nights , we were greeted warmly by Michael, he was kind and very helpful and when we see him he doesn't hesitate to check in and ask if we need anything.
We got upgraded to a newly renovated space due to renovations, thanks to management and team for doing so.
Over all, We had a great time, it was well maintained and a clean space with friendly staff.
We would 100% be back and will recommend this to our friends and family."
"The staff were very friendly & extremely helpful, the room was spacious & bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I will be staying here again for sure the next time I am in town. 😄"
