Wonderful house with holiday apartments that are furnished with taste and a love for details. Cosy and perfectly located in a surprisingly beautiful and vibrant town. Was there for the opera and this is a perfect place to stay! Highly recommended.

Vorsicht vor undurchsichtigen Machenschaften!

Nachdem wir bereits in einer anderen Stadt den Aufenthalt in einem Limehome unangenehm fanden (muffig, verlassen etc.), hofften wir bei der bereits davor gebuchten, aber später erfolgten Übernachtung in Bayreuth auf ein besseres Erlebnis - leider vergebens. Hinzu kam ein unfassbarer sowie unnötiger Stress im Nachhinein, da man uns unter dubiosem Vorgehen die Verunreinigung einer Matratze anlasten und dafür über 250€ von uns kassieren wollte - in einem anklagendem Ton, ohne überhaupt erst einmal zu versuchen, den Sachverhalt zu klären. Uns wurden Fotos geschickt, die aus so gut wie jedem Limehome-Zimmer vor Ort stammen konnten, die unlogisch in dem waren, was sie zeigten und ganz sicher nicht das von uns einwandfrei hinterlassene Bett, das wir zum Glück - wie alle Unterkünfte bei Verlassen - fotografiert hatten. Nach viel Stress in Warteschleifen etc. wurde zugegeben, dass es sich um einen Fehler bei Limehome handelte, aber worin der bestand, wurde uns auch auf Nachfrage nicht mitgeteilt. Es erfolgte zwar eine Entschuldigung mit der Ankündigung der Rückzahlung eines minimalen Betrags (etwas über 20€), doch da dies laut Limehome nur über Hotels.com möglich ist und erst nur zu einer Teilerstattung führte, waren viele weitere Telefonate inkl. Warteschleifenzeit sowie Mails an Limehome und Hotels.com nötig, bis wir zumindest diese Mini-Entschädigung für all‘ den Ärger, Stress und Zeitverlust erhalten hatten, die schlussendlich in keinerlei Verhältnis zu unserem Aufwand steht!!!
