Our welcome was very disappointing. The front desk staff didn't offer us any helpful information when we asked. There is no restaurant. The bar is unstaffed so you have to wait for someone from reception to serve you. It is not a comfortable place to relax with a drink as it is freezing cold. The lobby washroom garbage cans were overflowing. You must ask for a room robe. It's not a true 4 star. The room was large and clean and the beds were comfortable and linens nice. The shower doesn't have glass walls so the water overflows into the entire bathroom floor making it quite slippery.

Soyez assurée que la satisfaction de nos clients est en effet notre priorité. Concernant la douche, il est normal qu'il n'y ait pas de paroi dans la mesure où vous avez séjourné dans une chambre accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite, la réglementation française nous l'imposant. BEWARE - The property is cute and well located. Unfortunately while we were on tour visiting D-Day sites, the housekeeper took my prescription medication from my room. When we returned, I reported it immediately to the front desk clerk. I asked for them to look at the electronic lock records to see who had access to my room so they could be contacted that evening and recover my medication. She explained that any French Dr would easily prescribe these meds so there’s no way they could have been stolen She also informed me that the General Manager is the only one with the access to do that and they don’t bother them over the weekend. I checked out the next day as planned to go back to Paris. The morning clerk apologized, confirmed they had a temporary housekeeper from a local agency and asked me to file a police report. I’ve done that but nothing. The General Manager has never reached out to me or offered any compensation/apologies for my trouble or impact of missing my meds for a week. So if you must stay, put everything possible in tiny safe or take it with you when you leave.

De plus, nous n'avons pas affirmé que le directeur de l'établissement ne pouvait pas être dérangé le week-end, mais simplement qu'il n'existe pas de registre concernant l'utilisation des clés de chambre. Par ailleurs, nous avons également cherché à vous dédommager en vous offrant des consommations au bar, même si nous déclinons toute responsabilité dans le cas où vos effets personnels ne sont pas placés dans le coffre-fort de votre chambre.Nous estimons que votre commentaire ne reflète pas pleinement les efforts que nous avons déployés pour vous assister. I chose to stay here for a few days while exploring Bayeux and Normandy. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and is nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and provided some amazing tips for my visit. Secure parking is an option if required, and the optional breakfast was very nice and well priced. The hotel’s central location makes it easy to explore Bayeux on foot, or to find a nearby restaurant or bakery. Overall a great experience, I will stay here again next time I visit Bayeux.

We overall enjoyed our stay in the Jr Suite but was a bit disappointed that the room did not have a shower. It has a jacuzzi tub with a shower sprayer but it was not easy to use. Guess I did not see that on the list. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful planing an excursion for us and we appreciated that. Would recommend to others.

LOVED this Hotel!!!!
I stayed three nights in this hotel and LOVED it. I highly recommend the breakfast (a small fee, but well worth it). Centrally located, easy walk to all of the museums, the Cathedral and anywhere you would want to shop, or eat. A friendly staff, who were always kind and offered to assist me with anything. I'll definitely stay here again!!!!

The hotel was really good, breakfast was amazing, location very good, I don’t understand why they don’t offer for free the parking, but anyway is plenty of parking spaces outside the hotel for free at night until 9:00 am in the blue markings

Excellent base for exploring Bayeaux
The hotel is well positioned for exploring Bayeaux, which is easily walkable. We also took day trips to visit many WWII sites. Staff were friendly, funny, and very helpful. Will definitely visit again

Service from the staff was friendly and efficient, however the rooms did not have air conditioning which made them uncomfortable in the summer heat. While an electric fan was provided in each room, they were inadequate. Don’t understand the combined bath shower that has only a half panel instead of a full shower curtain. Water splashes everywhere while taking a shower and often lands on the floor. Would prefer a walk-in shower than this type of setup.

The Hotel is nice but the beds are a bit low quality. Centrally located for walking to Bayeux historical sites. They advertise parking but will charge you extra for it at checkin.

Only draw back was no fridge in room for medication although you gratefully accommodated my needs. The stairs were very difficult for hauling suitcases to our room even though write up says elevator. Overall your hotel was lively, staff very friendly and the small bar was great to meet other travellers

Great Central location to the city center. No air conditioning and the tower fan they provided was full of dust . They didn’t know what a face cloth/ wash cloth was . The bathroom was strange . In one tiny room was a bathtub shower combo ( very high and dangerous getting out ) . My husband cut himself getting out of tub as he almost slipped . The toilet is in a separate small room on the other side of guest room without a sink to wash hands . Some electrical outlets didn’t work. The electric door lock to the room didn’t work and cover was missing. We used a key ( is that still safe?) .
