"The place is large and most attractions are located with a brief walk which is better than others. The food in the buffet is very good. The beach is very nice, but has rough rocks under the surf and requires water shoes - this is important.
At night, the place it very beautiful with lighting and the activities are a delight. It is family place and the cheerful vibe is simply the best, I must say, of about any other similar resort I have been. They do a good job of maintaining the "family atmosphere".
Things to be aware of:
The some of the staff do not explain the property well--for example where large attractions are located (restaurants, beach and pool) - believe it or not. They sell you a Sunscape upgrade which they say is needed making this not really all inclusive, and do not explain what is included very well - they give a photocopy list. We missed out on some things even after asking several questions in their "Sunscape" center. There is no map of the property.
It took until 3:30 for them to find a room which was requested over 24 hours before check-in, The room provided was a disaster - period and should not have been offered in the first place. An upgrade was provided which was VERY nice and only costs a little more.
The snack bar and reception area food was not fresh with hot foods were at room temp.
Overall, if you educate yourself about what is here and how things work before coming here, you can have a great time."
