They are in the middle of a major renovation so it was a bit loud. the pool was LOVELY, but the rooms have some interesting decor taste and the echo from the hallway is quite loud if anyone is talking. All in all though it was ok. The front desk helped us save 50 bucks getting a van back to phenom phen. I think this hotel will be amazing in a few months after their renovations are done.

Unsatisfactory

Telephone line in room was broken, aircon not cool, something wrong with electric sockets in room, can't charge our handphones. Door knob was faulty, difficult to lock. Told the reception about phone line was broken, their reply was cannot change the phone. Complained about faulty door knob but no action taken. So, I requested for a room change and the new room is ok. We could charge our handphone in the new room and the phone is working. We used the phone to call reception in room 406 but no answer from reception. When we told them why no answer from reception, their reply was something wrong on their side and they can't hear the phone ringing, or else they will pick up the phone.

great for the price and location

There are actually two sections and they will show you both if you don't like the first room. The only problem is if you get a street View the tuktuk drivers do make a lot of noise early in the morning. It is good enough to stay for 3 days and the price is good for the area you get with all the conveniences from Starbucks to Amazon coffee shops and the pizza places along with fancy Boutique type shops and restaurants

My stay at holiday was longer than expected and each day I was able to get closer to the staff and realize how difficult it must be to work with foreigners. Most hotels and businesses in a small town like Battambang, you will not find too many tourists nor locals that speak English so it was comforting to have nice staff who tried and were very kind. I guess that's the number one thing that I loved about this place. They do have a swimming pool now it's very clean but very few people out there but their restaurant still is not up and going. However, there is a local market 2 blocks for items 1/3 the price. The ladies who come and clean each day are very very nice and dependable. In general I would stay here again and again because of the price, location is not bad depending on where you need to go and the hotel is very modern with the usual conveniences.

Leider traf vieles was angepriesen war nicht zu. Kein zimmersafe keine Minibar und auch die gesamte Ausstattung war schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. An der Stelle wo der Kühlschrank plaziert war gab es keine Steckdose und er musste dann neben das Bett gestellt werden. Trotz allem muss bemerkt werden das das Personal ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Leider haben die Rahmenbedingungen nicht gepasst.

Pleasantly Surprised by Our Stay

Great value for our stay. When I saw the hotel with its fancy waiting area I thought this could not be our hotel. In fact there was another Holiday Hotel sign on a old building around the corner that I thought may be our hotel. Checked the photo on the booking to confirm and we were at the right place. Elevator was out when we got there so poor porter had to carry the bags up 6 floors but elevator was working all the rest of the time. Cannot comment on the restaurant as it was closed at the time for renovation. Area was a bit dark and quiet after 8 pm as seems they roll up the sidewalks early here compared to the tourist centres. Room was very good although the room facing out onto the entrance off the street seemed to pick up the blasting of music which started at 6am from local business. Not sure that is regular occurrence but happened every day we were there. Front staff were helpful in arranging tickets for circus and transport to bat cave. Had a good stay and would come back.

①ローコストながら宿泊に必要なクオリティーを十分満たしていて、一般的な観光客にお薦めできる内容。②多くのバス会社とのアクセスが容易な立地で、国内移動が楽。③特筆すべきはシャワールームがトイレスペースと壁で隔てられたカプセル状になっていて、シャワー使用時にトイレスペースが濡れず、快適に利用できた。④フロントの応対が親切、丁寧で判り易かった。⑤ランドリーの取り扱いについて、通常一般的には朝出して夕方受け取りなので２泊以上の連泊が必要になるが、今回、チェックイン時に受けて、その日の夕方には仕上げてもらえたと言う対応が非常に嬉しかった。

Holidaying at the Holiday

This is a comfortable hotel, basic by western standards but has everything one needs. The staff are attentive, helpful and exhibit true Khmer hospitality. The price is excellent the only problem is that at the moment there is no restaurant. To be honest, it’s not a bad thing, the local area has good Khmer and western restaurants and there Is plenty of street food and coffee sellers if that’s what you need.
