The best way to travel in Tangkahan is by tubing down the river. It's peaceful, safe, unbelievably beautiful and you may even spit snakes and monkeys in the jungle on the way down.
The elephants at Tangkahan have a fantastic life. Patrollers and protectors of the jungle they have river baths and jungle treks daily. A beautiful site to see.
Bathing elephants at Tangkahan is unmissable. Not only do these gentle giants help raise money to protect the forest (tourists pay to help bathe them), they also do jungle patrol with the Rangers once a week!
Tangkahan is full of rivers, waterfalls, streams, hot springs and jungle trekking. A beautiful place to explore.
Tangkahan is truly a hidden paradise. The only thing more beautiful than the scenery is the people. You'll never be greeted more warmly than in this gorgeous riverside jungle heaven. Trekking, tubing, massages, waterfalls, elephant washing, monkey spotting and mouth watering food - this place has it all.

Magnifique endroit en bord de rivière, dans laquelle nous pouvons se rafraîchir et observer les singes ! Un paradis.
