"Hotel was okay - breakfast was good - valet parking 45 dollars plus tax - 51 dollars overpriced"

Hilton Austin

8/10 Good
"A/C struggled to cool the room. Maybe because the thermostat was right next to the unit or the blower was subpar, but the room was warm and wouldn’t cool, even though the thermostat said 64. It was probably 74. The pool bar closed early both nights we wanted to grab a nightcap up there. I am not sure how much you save by closing 45 minutes early. It can’t be much. We were disappointed. Room was nice. Bedding was good. Very close to the nightlife (easy walking distance). Great breakfast buffet with attentive wait staff. Bar was pricey, considering the proximity to other, much cheaper venues."
