Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa

8/10 Good
"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Great for kids and families with lots of areas to explore and activities. We used the pool, lazy river, road bikes, walked the trails along the river, star gazing with telescopes they sent up one night, family movie on the lawn, and made smores at the fire pit. The staff was friendly, everyone from valet, bell hop, check-in and restaurant service. The only challenge was getting dinner reservations with a large group as the resort was very busy the weekend we went (we got reservations weeks before we arrived). Fortunately, we were able to eat at the steakhouse, which was very good. We had the ribeye and tomahawk steaks and they were prepared perfectly. We also had the breakfast buffet and breakfast from the coffee and ice cream shop, both were very good. Very pleased with all the food on site. This was a perfect weekend getaway and the kids loved it too. Next time we'll try some fishing at the pond and the golf course."

"I stay here often when I have business in Austin. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The rooms are of good size and no complaints on bedding. Ask for a room facing West. There is construction on I 35 and traffic is always backed up one way or the other so it might be quieter of you aren’t looking down on it."
