A place to go in Makarska Riviera

Excellent value for money out-of-season. Probably the best location in Croatia, on Makarska Riviera, but less crowded than Makarska itself. The mountainous backdrop is gorgeous, beautiful beach right outside the hotel, fantastic spa facilities, food variety, each night something different to choose from, the food very high quality. Even the included drinks and wine were great.

Staff were helpful and considerate. Would highly recommend. Mia ,Radovic,Maya and Anita are the credit to hotel. Others as well but I only remember those and met them mostly. So just saying that everyone is perfect there.

Very nice

Nice view from the balcony to the sea. Safe parking for motorcycles, and it was free of charge! Would stay again. Breakfast was excellent.

Baska Voda stay

This hotel in reality is a 3 star hotel rather than 4 stars. It has very small rooms with limited manouvering space and you end up that you don't have space where to leave your suitcases except on the balcony. Bathrooms are really uncomfortable with high bath and frame about it, so you need to be an athlete to jump in and take a shower. There is no kettle in the room or coffee tray which is standard for 4 star hotels across European countries. I made an enquiry why they do not supply kettles or coffee trays and the answer was because of fire safety. Never heard travelling through 76 countries that kettle caused a fire. We used half-board option so breakfast and dinner buffet style and offer of food was good, but restaurant was overcrowded particularly at peak hours, so queueing for the food was a common issue. Quality of food was lower than expected and they were recycling food from breakfast to dinner and vice versa. Lift in a hotel is old fashion with only one call button so if you wait your lift on the third floor to go down it often stops full of people who are going to/from the fourth floor. Parking on site is overcrowded, they charge it, but you have to wait until parking manager unblocks your car by moving few other cars. It could take up to 40 minutes. Swimming pool indoor is good, however you can't use sauna for free and also they charge you to rent you a towel, approx. 3 EUR/day. Outdoor swimming pool is small and no enough sun beds for guests. Heavily overpriced

Das Hotel ist an sich sehr schön! Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Essen hervorragend, Personal sehr nett! Nur die Badewanne im Bad ist sehr hoch, sehr gefährlich beim ein und Ausstieg. Wäre besser wenn eine Dusche drin wäre. Trotzdem würde ich jederzeit wieder im Hotel Horizont buchen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke

Förbättringspotential i Baška Voda: En ärlig rece

Jag vill framföra min kritik med förhoppningen om att det leder till förbättringar. Hotellet var ganska rent och restaurangen erbjöd bra mat med många valmöjligheter. Tyvärr krånglade hissarna, vilket gjorde att jag inte vågade använda dem. Eftersom jag bodde på femte våningen blev det många trappor upp och ner varje dag. Miljön utanför hotellet var inte lika trevlig. Stranden var oren med överfulla sopkorgar och det luktade illa. Det fanns bara ett omklädningsrum på stranden, som tillhörde hotellet. Det var fullt med stenar och luktade starkt av urin. Duschen på stranden var inte gratis och upplevelsen var inte särskilt positiv. Min kritik är inte menad att vara elak utan är en förhoppning om förbättringar. Efter att ha arbetat hårt för att spara pengar till semestern vill man kunna njuta fullt ut. En semester i Kroatien är trots allt inte gratis.

"Ett blandat intryck av Baška Voda: Hotellkomfort

Hej, Min resa till Baška Voda var en blandad upplevelse. Hotellet jag bodde på var ganska rent, men hissarna krånglade, vilket gjorde att jag inte vågade åka dem. Eftersom jag bodde på femte våningen innebar det många trappor upp och ner varje dag. Restaurangen på hotellet var dock en positiv överraskning. Maten var bra och det fanns mycket att välja på. Tyvärr var miljön utanför hotellet inte lika trevlig. Stranden var oren, sopkorgarna var överfulla och det luktade illa. Det fanns bara ett omklädningsrum på stranden, som tillhörde hotellet. Det var fullt med stenar och luktade starkt av urin. Dessutom var duschen på stranden inte gratis och ganska tråkig. Sammanfattningsvis var jag inte helt imponerad av Baška Voda.

Valida soluzione per la tua vacanza

L'hotel è molto bello e la camera vista mare permette di vedere dei bellissimi e romantici tramonti. Il parcheggio nei mesi più affluenti è un problema come in tutta la zona, ma la scelta di far organizzare al personale la distribuzione delle macchine risulta vincente in quanto ottimizzano lo spazio e puoi liberamente prendere l'auto anche durante il tuo soggiorno per visitare le zone limitrofe e tornare nel tuo posto senza problemi. La zona è ottima: una strada divide l'hotel dalla spiaggia e bastano pochi minuti di passeggio per trovarsi in centro. Il centro fitness è molto attrezzato e la zona piscina è utile per lo svago e bella. La reception è molto disponibile come tutto lo staff. Consiglio e suggerisco anche di usufruire del ristorante che serve pochi piatti ma tutti buoni e curati e per tutti gusti. Da assaggiare ogni cosa.

Helt ok hotell. Vi hade valt rum med utsikt mot havet👍 - Fanns inte något strykjärn att låna upp på rummet - Bullrig matsal, fick vänta länge med att bli serverade dricka till maten. Någon kväll hann vi att äta upp maten utan något att dricka till. Här behöver dom se över rutiner för det.

Fint hotell med bra läge.

Fint hotell, dock var det mycket väsen på natten, hördes som dom diskade plåtar. Fina promenadstråk nära haver.

Preis Leistung sehr schlecht! Doppelzimmer viel zu klein, mussten Familienzimmer buchen, Rezeptionist meinte, wir müssen 50€ pro Nacht zahlen, dann am Ende die große Überraschung statt 350€ zahlen wir 700€! drauf. Fahrt lieber nach Split- definitiv viel schöner als Baska Voda und auch günstiger!

- Alle Zimmer mit Balkon (dürfte die Raucher erfreuen) - Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal - Peinliche Sauberkeit der Zimmer - Schöner Pool mit wenig Gästen, die die Liegen "reservieren" - Kiesstrand direkt über die Strasse (etwas überlaufen) - Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet - Zimmer nicht sehr gross, aber ausreichend - Leider wenig Ablagemöglichkeit für Kleider, usw. - Einstieg in die Badewanne benötigt etwas Gelenkigkeit, da man sich nicht auf den Rand setzen kann wegen der Duschabtrennung

Rommene var helt greie, ikke så mye å si datert, men Ok. Maten var grei både frokost og buffet. Ikke det helt store, men samme standard som resten av byen. Gymmen holdt bra standard til å være hotellgym. Folk i byen/ hotellet virker generelt litt likegyldig eller lei turister med unntak av par vaskedamer.
