The room is not air-conditioned, but not many places in Switzerland are. The hotel downstairs is spotless and delicious, and the staff are all very friendly. The front desk staff, Stephanie and Tina were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the restaurant is available for evening meals. We had no issues with the room. We are comfortable walking stairs. Murten is an interesting town with an interesting history."

"It was so comfy and clean and having a kitchen with a grocery store right next door was awesome after travelling in very expensive country was lovely! The checkin process was automatic at a machine at front desk and even tho two live people were in attendance you still had to do the very finicky process on the machine at front and wait for the machine to send the info to the two live people st the front desk! Very impersonal and weird!And only two “welcome free coffee pods” in your room for first day no matter how long you stay. That was odd. However we liked the hotel as it was clean and comfy!!"

"We liked the "kitchen" though there wasn't an oven to do pizza. (go to the 8th floor common room and use that one) The common room was never busy while we were there so if you want a comfortable spot to browse the internet or watch a game on your laptop that is a good spot. If there are two of you, pulling the other half of the bed out every evening was a bit of a chore but not a deal breaker. The bathroom was spacious by Swiss standards BUT the glass doors could make it awkward for some people. The location was VERY convenient being right next to the train station and surprisingly at night you had to strain to hear the trains. Another surprise was the rooftop terrace with a great view of the mountains. The price was fair and I would stay there again."
