"There were only 9 rooms being used and they put us in a room with a broken toilet paper holder when they said they knew it was broken and awaiting a part. The towels were dingy-need to use bleach. Beds were old. The staff were nice, but not available at the desk if you need something. No breakfast but they are trying to get licensed for breakfast. Will probably only stay if in a pinch in the future."

"Staff was incredible. We enjoyed the breakfast. They have hot items and a lot to choose from. There was some road noise as we were on the side by the road. This might be an issue if you are a light sleeper."

"First thing you notice when you walk in to check, in and if you wake up early enough when you walk out the door is how incredibly clean the property is. Room was exactly what we need as a family of 3 with a toddler on a roadtrip. Pool was excellent, and the breakfast was great for what you get. On the road trip we’ve stayed at what most would say are two other “upscale” hotels, this property blew those away on cleanliness alone!"

"Had the highest rating on H in Russell. Don’t believe the rating. It is below average at best. Worse yet, Hotels.com would not assist in getting me a refund (we checked in but did not stay) and we’ve been using H religiously for over 20 years. Even achieved GOLD status one year and they chose to support the motel mgr rather than me."
