Staff was awesome ... upgraded us to a king jr suite upon arrival since they had vacancies and the room was PERFECT! Fire pit in the evening with s'mores was an incredible touch. Would absolutely stay here again next time through Bardstown.

This stay wasn’t as nice as another stay at this property. Room was not as nice and quaint. It was clean. My room was near a large, loud group even though the front desk knew I wasn’t with the large, loud group and there were only a few occupied rooms. Perhaps would have been better customer service to put a lone traveler away from the drunken chaos of a large group, particularly when the lodge was not full. Somewhat disappointing.

We were in area for Bourbon Trail and wanted to stay overnight in Bardstown. Looking at reviews we found this place. It was perfect, look past the outdated outside and cracked concrete parking lot as room was clean, quiet area, close to downtown and friendly check-in. Beds were comfortable, large pillows and nice renovated rooms and bathroom. Would stay there again when in the area.

I found this room to be basic. It didn’t really look like the pictures and it was kind of outdated. Nothing special at all, but seem clean and the bed was comfy.
