For me The Social Hub is one of the best hotels in Barcelona. It was actually my third time in a row and while there was a lot of constructions going on the year before, they know finished them and did some really great renovations in the pool areas, the gym, the rooms. My room was on the 3rd floor and super quiet. Really enjoyed my stay.

Shoutout to William and Danny who made our stay so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend to stay here for two solid reasons: first the location is in a fantastic neighbourhood where you are walking distance away from the beach, parks, and local shops. Second the amenities are great here: 2 pools, delicious bfast, gym with sauna and massage chairs. Our room was quiet and clean. There are quirky and clever touches everywhere, we loved the vibe. The only feedback we have is that the hallway smells of old/musty carpet. Not sure there’s a way to air out the hallways. 10/10 and highly recommend.

Incredible stay at the social hub in Poblenou. Staff were not only friendly and warm though also very hospitable. Miki was a gem throughout the check out process and so helpful attending to our questions and requests. Great stay at a great property! Thank you!

Overall, I felt the hotel had everything you could need for a comfortable stay with a cool vibe throughout. The atmosphere was generally very pleasant, and there were plenty of positive aspects to the hotel itself. However, the location was a little disappointing. The hotel felt quite isolated, and being surrounded by ongoing construction took away from the overall experience. It made the surrounding area feel less appealing and meant there wasn't much immediately nearby to explore or enjoy. Unfortunately, I also found some of the bar staff to be less welcoming than expected. In particular, one member of staff came across as rather unfriendly and, on occasion, quite rude. This was disappointing, as friendly and attentive service can make a big difference to a hotel stay, especially when travelling solo and you're looking to relax and enjoy the facilities. That said, the hotel itself had a lot going for it, especially the roof top bar and with a more convenient location and a more welcoming approach from certain members of staff, I feel it could be a really enjoyable place to stay.

This was a solo trip for me, I have been to Barcelona before, but I wanted this trip to be more relaxing. Overall, the hotel is in a good location with easy accessibility to public transportation. There were a few cons for me, there is no room service at this hotel (there are a multiples restaurants/bars on site) but on my first night I did just want to chill in my room and eat food. My second con is no one at reception answers the phone, I used the phone in my room to call on multiple occasions and it just rang, so I had to go downstairs to make a request, which was a bit annoying when it’s something so small I’d like to discuss/request. After coming back from a day out, someone had obviously been in my room (not an issue - I put the sign on requesting a cleaning) but the bed was barely made and then whoever was in there broke the flush on my toilet - it was coming off the wall, so had to go downstairs and report that as I didn’t want to use it and make it worse. Another thing, hotels that don’t provide dressing gowns/robes are very strange to me, because I’d consider it an essential. To end on a positive note, my pros were the staff were very lovely and when speaking to them they were always ready to help. Food and ambiance on the rooftop was lovely - I was there every night. I was a 20 minute walk from a beach which was convenient for this type of trip. When I had an issue with my TV, the maintenance guy attended quickly and managed to fix it for me.
