During our 6 nights stay we are only given 3 bath towels.No comforter provided.No housekeeping.The caretaker explained us that they don’t provide comforter during summer but it gets really cold with the floor tiles.Room is not the same as advertised.Hotel lacks supplies for the guest to feel comfortable during the stay. Location is accesible near metro Caretaker helped us as much as she can

A very nice building with a quaint old fashioned lift. A simple but adequate room. A very nice lady manager who was helpful and made a splendid breakfast.

This place was hard to find. Upon entering was told 2nd floor to which it was not on the 2nd floor. None of the phone numbers associated with the place connected to anyone. Their website shows shuttle service to and from hotel but none was provided. The place is noisy. The beds were rock hard and the pillows hard as well. When requesting a refund and leaving the property I was promised a one night refund and never got it. HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Thank you so much to Jinky and the team at AinB apartments. The accommodation was so central to one of the best parts of Barcelona. We felt safe and secure leaving our belongings in the room and check in was very easy and straight forward. Delicious omelettes and croissants for breakfast each day was such a bonus! Very comfy bed and the air-conditioning was so lovely after a hot day shopping! Another bonus was how quiet it was in comparison to other apartments we have stayed in around the city. We would definitely book again.

Good local but too much light.
We enjoyed the area and the convenience of the metro. However the room we stayed in was perpetual twilight because the lobby lights shown directly into our room. There were no curtains or drapes to block the light. I found it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Other than that it was clean, staff was helpful, the breakfast was satisfactory and overall condition good. And we loved the locality.

The place was not it was meant to be, beds where really small, to small to be exact, the toilet didn’t work, some of the lights didn’t work, just room wasn’t what thy made it seem to be on the pictures. Had to leave the place and waste more money on getting another hotel. We where 3 ppl.

Great location. Very clean. Jinky the main staff is the best EVER! what a wonderful person. Always smiling and making sure that you had everything needed. Very humble and at the same time very professional. She makes the best omelette. I will definitely will come back and honestly just to be treated the way she made us feel. Really felt at home

While the accommodation was comfortable and the staff were friendly enough, the running of the place was scattered, quite inconvenient. Upon check-in, I was informed the credit card machine wasn't working and was encouraged to get cash from a nearby ATM. I said I didn't want to do that as withdrawing money costs me fees. The person at the front desk said he wasn't the usual person and the the lady who runs it had told him I should go get cash. And he didn't know anything about when the machine would be repaired. Eventually I gave in, as I had extra cash with me. I understand technology fails sometimes, but not having an alternative and no notification in advance it was down is not acceptable. The breakfast was sparse and only available from 9-10:30. We remarked that it seemed like a very late and limited time for breakfast in such a touristic city as Barcelona. We were told breakfast was on 'Spanish time'.. Again, understood, but as tourists, we were on our time and on the time of various tours we wanted to take. Even so, the first morning, very little was even ready right at 9:00. The hotel is in an apartment building. There was a dog in a nearby apartment that was yelping for over 30 minutes late one evening. Again, unavoidable, but it's not a place the hotel should be if there are noisy dogs permitted outside guests' windows - especially since the hotel doesn't permit pets themselves.

Arrive during the day if possible ...
The street, building and elevators are a little sketchy (we arrived at midnight due to a flight delay) and I’m glad I wasn’t alone. Once we got into the room, everything was fine. Clean, comfortable, and decent breakfast.

This hotel is nothing like in the picture they have advertised. Room is small, and SUPER SUPER DIRTY. Staff are lazy, I booked two nights, room were not cleaned, instead staff told me to bring dirty towels out to get new one. SUPER NOISE! Only a portable air conditioner in room, making huge noise, unable to sleep with it on. Staff asking me to empty the air conditioner water collector. AND THERE ARE MARKS ON TOWELS. DISGUSTING AWFUL PLACE

4 day break in Barcelona
We spent 4 days in Barcelona and wanted to complete all the famous sights. This hotel was perfect as it was in walking distance of plaça de Catalunya. From here, we got the hop on hop off bus around the city. The hotel room is small, but that's alright as we only used it for sleeping in. The Wifi was extremely fast and the hotel service was perfect. Breakfast was very good, selection of pastries and eggs and coffee made fresh when wanted. There are also lots of little cafes around which does fantastic food.

This is a nice place to stay in the beautiful city of Barcelona. I spent 4 nights with my wife in this B&B. Compared to fancy hotels, the rooms in this B&B are a bit small but they are adequate. The rooms are very clean and you will be provided with room cleaning service and towels every other day. The breakfast is fine but don't expect a wide variety of choices like you see in fancy, expensive hotels! The breakfast includes bread, butter, jam, honey, slice cheese, ham, turkey, eggs, cereal, milk, tea, coffee, yogurt, and cup-cake. There is an Air Conditioner in each room. Junky, the person in charge of the place, is a sweet-heart. She is very friendly and kind. I recommend this place.

Awful. The photo with the nice room is the only room like this in the entire complex. We know this because we were not at all happy with the room we got, it was basic at best it would have been better at a hostel, so we got to have a look at all the other rooms. The room in the photo is the only room like this dont be fooled. Jinky who looks after that complex was so nice and just a lovely person, she helped us get into another apartment complex and tried her best to satisfy our needs. In the end we moved to another fully contained studio a block away and had to pay extra to stay there. Not impressed

Lovely B&B + Very safe and great location
It was an overall great place to stay. Stayed in a triple room for three nights. Room cleanliness was great, very spacious bathroom with clean towels. TV in the rooms were not working though as the B&B owner had to sort out the aerial, would it have been nice to have some background music while getting ready to go out but still didnt spoil our stay. Breakfast was a mixture of cheese and ham slides (the processed types), bread/ toast, eggs which would be cooked to your liking and butter/honey/jams. The person managing the B&B was warm and very accommodating.

This B&B is in an apartment so it's initially hard to locate as it's just an address on the street. You have to use the doorbell speaker to call the 2nd floor and they buzz you up. Once on second floor, it's an apartment divided into several rooms and you eat in the dining room with other guests. The person who manages the rooms and cooks breakfast, Jinky, is EXCELLENT, nice, and very helpful. She made our visit pleasant. The room was not the coolest; it does have a portable air conditioner but the tube that supposed to blow the hot air outside the window was not there, so it was a battle between the hot air and the cool air of the unit. We found a bug in the bathroom on the second morning but really that was to be expected since the window has to remain open due to the AC unit. Other than that, the accommodations were very good for the low price (Barcelona is VERY expensive, even more than Paris!) and the location was fantastic as it's very near to Catalunya Square and short walk to Las Ramblas.

Convenient, well-run, but a little over-priced
Firstly, I have to say that the servicing of this B&B by Jinky and her staff was great. She was extremely helpful and friendly - cooking breakfast every morning and clearly going out of her way to keep the place running smoothly. However, while the location was great (on a reasonably quiet street, very close to Placa Cataluyna, La Ramblas etc, very neat the stops for the Airbus to/from the main airport) and the room was reasonably comfortable I couldn't help feeling that it was slightly over-priced and the advert slightly misleading. I was under the impression that I was renting an aparthotel room with separate bathroom AND kitchen, but this is basically a B&B with an en-suite room and communal dining room and kitchen. The inclusive breakfast was fine, but very basic and clearly the cheapest possible ham, cheese, bread etc. A little more variety and better quality would have been appreciated for the price. Finally, the room was HOT. It's Spain in summer, so that's to be expected, but a functioning fan or aircon system, or at least thick curtains/blinds to keep out the light and heat would have been good. That said, for peak season accommodation in a very central location this is still an affordable and convenient option. We had a great stay! Barcelona just isn't as cheap as it was...

Stay away from this place.I went with my girlfriend from 10-13 of July 2014. It is an apartment that was converted to a motel. The place is run by foreign people which live there. The kitchen is shared (very dirty) and you eat in the living room. They say they have a Continental breakfast but it is a miserable orange juice, a few slices of cheese, a few slices of ham, some milk and cereals and a bought from the store cake (wrapped). The rooms are tiny and some of them doesn't have an air condition. On one of the nights the foreign people that run the place invited their other foreign friends to celebrate a birthday of one of them and they made a lot of noise. DISGUSTING!!!!

Location of the hotel is excellent and we were welcomed by Jinki who is the heart of the place. She made us feel comfortable,helped us with all the directions and ensured that room was clean. Breakfast was good too. It is difficult to find the place as there were no boards or any landmarks given. We would have been roaming around if we did not get a person who guided us to the place. Also the room allocated to us did not match the picture that was posted. It was a good room but just felt a little stuffy as it was facing the patio. Overall it was an awesome stay and I would like to visit this place again.Thank you very much Jinki for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

No hairdryer in the room, no daily housekeeping and no reception service (room information was not so), breakfast time supposed to be 9-11 according to post instruction but it turned out to be 9-10 at place, it is not the condition itself what disappointed me it was misinformation and expectations without meet. But BCN is still amazing to join under any circumstances viva Gaudi!

I’ve just returned from a lovely 4 day break in Barcelona. The location is great and the at home facilities which included use of kitchen and the lovely living room was a bonus. It really felt like home away from home. Diego was lovely and VERY accommodating, he definitely made the stay more enjoyable and was always at hand to offer advise on where to go and how to go about it. My room was modern and comfortable, my only regret was that it didn’t look on to the streets it backed onto other apartments and which had large pipes and you could hear water going through it at random times of the day. This did in no part have any impact on my stay, the hotel was a comfortable resting place for me to explore the beautiful city.

There is no full time staff so if you arrive before the 3PM check-in you can't drop off your luggage. This is a serious problem if you got off a cruise ship at 8AM. They do offer to hold your luggage at the main office, about 15 minutes and an extra cab ride away. There didn't appear to be any air conditioning, though one room had a wall fan. It wasn't too much of a problem in May but I wouldn't want to stay here in the summer. The central office staff was no help, but Diego, the "custodian" was very helpful. The living room and kitchen were very convenient and would be great for a family. The location was fine.

stay far away from here. terrible place...terrible rooms and mega dirty, mold in the bath, it was so gross. and it's expensive so it doesn't last at all. the woman who looks after the place and "serves" breakfast lives there and runs around wearing a bath towel and you can't call it breakfast🙈. there is a smell and when the person who looks after it cooks it is even worse...it is outrageously expensive when you see it and we feel very cheated especially on the price. there is a lot of noise from the courtyard connected to the rooms. so...stay away...Best regards Preben og Pia denmark
