「Stairs were dirty with dead grass and bits of paper. Upholstery on chair was stained. Crumbs on counter and floor in breakfast area.」

「I made reservations via Expedia. When I arrived there (about 6 pm ) the door was locked tight. Called them and got a recording which said to leave a message. I did so with no response. There was a building behind the house which appeared to be a very rundown motel building. I found out that the owner of the main house and I presume the rundown “motel” lived-right next door. 「Friendly and helpful, easy to find, and just an all around nice place to stay. Room was larger than some higher-star hotels offer, everything was clean and in good condition, and even though the place is on a main street through town it was incredibly quiet. Will definitely book here again when we visit.」

「The 1 inch gap under the door could be a problem as the weather changes.」
