Clean, comfortable and did the job

We booked very last minute while on the journey down to Bar, we needed somewhere to stay before getting the train to Belgrade the next day. Although the hotel is the other side of the town centre from the station, Bar is not very big and the hotel is perfectly located. It’s not anything fancy but it does the job and had everything and more that we needed, plus clean and comfortable. The owner helped us out with getting taxis etc

Dobry i wygodny nocleg za małe pieniądze.

Bardzo przyjemny hotel. Przemiła obsługa. Czysty pokój i łazienka - tylko prysznic. Osobne WC. Na balkonie jest aneks kuchenny - można np. zaparzyć sobie herbaty. Na balkonie jest stół i krzesła. Smaczne śniadanie serwowane: jajka na twardo i gotowane parówki, ser, pieczywo, dżem, kawa. Wygodne łóżko, szafa, stolik, telewizor. Hotel oddalony od centrum. Bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny.

Ca. 500 m zum Strand und Promenade gut erreichbar.

Das Appartement ist vom Bahnhof Bar / Busbahnhof gut erreichbar. Bushaltestelle Sutomore ca. 500 m. Mit öffentlichen Bussen Richtung Bar/Ulcinj, Budva/Kotor relativ gut erreichbar. Bato, der Eigentüber und sein Frau sind sehr freundlich und hifsbereit. Gutes, presiwertes Frühstück.

Rooms in a house close distance to the beach and shopping. Free parking on premises. Wifi included. Rooms are basic and dated. Small and dated bathroom. Wifi disappears at times and then comes back on.

Clean. Very good value.

This is a great hotel for the price. Good location. About a 30 min walk to the train/bus station. No more than a 10 min walk to the beach. It's run by a nice family. A couple of the family members speak good English. Rooms are simple but very clean and have what you need. It's located on a busy road but noise wasn't a problem. Ask for a room on the backside of the building if you are concerned about road noise. For me it was the perfect place for a night before taking the train to Belgrade.

Lo que me apareció en la página de Hoteles.com que tenía la habitación no era así, el baño no era privado sino compartido, la habitación no tenía aire acondicionado ni artículos de tocador, la cocina era compartida con otro pasajero, que la utilizaba para lavarse los dientes. La reserva al hotel nunca les llego, tuvieron que improvisar con mi llegada. A pesar de todo eso, el caballero se porto súper amable y trato al máximo de solucionar lo que más podía.

The owner who speaks English well is so kind, helpful and friendly. He could answer everything to my question, and took me to Stari bar by his drive! I couldn't have breakfast because he and his family were out at that time and no English speakers were in the kitchen. Location is just off the town center; 20min walking to King Nicola's Palace, and 6-7min walking to the nearest bus stop to/from Stari bar, town center and station (train/bus). Room was good. I was happy that I could take a hot shower in a bath tub. Air-conditioning does work. I think price is reasonable.

Pleasant safe stay for solo budget traveller

Vila Jadran is located maybe 20 minutes walk from the centre, and is quiet despite a main through road being out front. The coast buses can drop you outside if you're using them and there is adequate parking for cars. The host was pleasant and offered me a choice of rooms, both with TV, one with balcony. The bed was fine for a night, & there are thorough cleaning staff. Bathroom clean with very good shower. WiFi was a little patchy here and there. I was travelling solo and walking back from the restaurant area at night, I was aware that there were hardly any other people around as the accommodation is on the outskirts, but you could get a taxi easy enough. Vila Jadran is the opposite end of the town for the rail station, probably about 40 minutes walk total. The host can arrange transport to/from airports, railway etc. He thoughtfully sent me an email prior to my arrival asking if I needed collection from anywhere. A pleasant safe stay for one night for a budget traveller.

Bit shabby and cramped. Neighborhood wasn't very nice and fine, but it's easy to find and there isn't long way to the beach, city center or supermarkets.

Great place, great price, great location

Easy 10 minute walk to the water or central Bar. The room was large for a family with separate bathroom/shower and small kitchen. Access to a balcony as well along with a rack to hang clothes out to dry. The family who runs it are great! The father and son speak English very well and are very helpful with anything you need. We really enjoyed staying here. Great value for the money.
