Cromwell Harbor Motel

"This is located in the village of Bar Harbor, away from all the madness - restaurants, people BUT close enough where you can actually walk to places. Our room was in back, second floor and was THE QUIETEST place we’ve ever stayed in! The front desk attendant was welcoming and quick with the instructions. The key drop box is so very convenient as well. The bathroom was fine - new tub surround, no drain back up, and the water pressure and temperature were good! The grounds, buildings have been updated; property is very neat and appealing. The cons: the king bed needs replacing yesterday, too old; the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced, as well as the curtain on the sliding glass door. Other than that, I’d stay again."

"A good 10mins walk from the Harbor so not at all central. These are rooms in a converted building so rooms in odd places and no elevator. No pool/hottub. Breakfast and parking included. Continental Breakfast was good but no real dining facilities (just a few table and chairs) - so it was "grab and go" as opposed to sit down."
