Acadia Bay Inn is a peaceful oasis away from the crowds of Bar Harbor and many top attractions of Mount Desert Island. The Inn is warm, inviting, spacious and impeccably clean. Host Nicole and Matt are friendly, gracious, and very helpful in providing suggestions on activities and restaurants. Nicole creates delicious, beautiful breakfasts and afternoon snacks and Matt is a thoughtful server. We stayed in Jasmine and it was wonderful! More spacious than the online photos capture, we had lots of room, incredible views, and very comfy furniture both inside and on our private deck. The only mistake you can make is not booking enough nights. There is so much to do and see on both MDI and the Schoodic Peninsula, be sure to leave yourself enough down time to truly enjoy this wonderful inn.

The Acadia Bay Inn was beautiful both inside and out. The view was spectacular. The food was fabulous. It was the perfect place to disconnect and relax…but also close enough to Bar Harbor and other places when you wanted to do something. This is the first time we have ever stayed in a B&B. If you are looking for a quite respite you should stay here. Todd and Angie were excellent hosts and served us a very tasty and filling breakfast each morning. The inn is an easy drive from Bar Harbor as well as Acadia National Park. Would definitely stay here again if our travels take us in that direction.
