I am hoping that the hotel is in the condition that it is because it is being remodeled, but I don’t know if that’s a fact. The room was smelly. The team was nice and the hotel felt safe, but it’s time for them to give it some attention. Breakfast was nice.

Good for a night.

I just came from out of state to have a place to stay for the night after a concert. So it got the job done. I would not want to stay for more than that. But really anywhere where you can get a pizza and eat with your friends in a room is nice right. There were some weird stains about I won't lie. I slept on top of the covers lol.

As a solo female traveler I was very skeptical of this place because it has SO MANY bad reviews on expedia. When I arrived it really wasnt bad. I didnt see or find any bugs/roaches. There wasnt any sketchy people hanging around outside. I felt safe there, wich is always my biggest concern. Room was decent and clean. I thought it was fine!

Hotel is under construction so they are not able to serve breakfast. For the price room was a good. However there is mildew/mold around the ceiling in the shower room. Without an exhaust fan this is going to be a regular occurrence…so would recommend that the cleaning staff dry and clean the area between occupants…the carpet also although vacuumed there were gobs of unidentifiable sticky residue…the carpets should be shampooed when soiled

Surprisingly Happy.

I was reluctant to book this hotel after reading several bad reviews but did so because of price and location. When we arrived we were happy to see that the hotel seems to be going under some renovations. After a smooth check-in, we found our room to be quite comfortable and clean with the AC flowing nicely to keep us cool on a 90 degree day. My lady friend was disappointed that there was no hair dryer in our room or anywhere to be found in the hotel. The free breakfast left a little to be desired and we opted to get breakfast at a near by Dunkin Donuts on our second day. Overall I would recommend this hotel keeping in mind that it is not a 3 or 4 star hotel.

Affordable accommodations; friendly, helpful staff

This hotel is in a great location for weekend trips to DC and Baltimore. It was 50 mins to DC, and 13 mins to the Baltimore Aquarium by car. The site was able to accommodate our large family in a room with three double beds at a price we could afford. The free breakfast included a waffle maker, which my kids loved, and our room had a mini fridge, a microwave, and a large flat screen TV with cable. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, and we ended up folding the bed back in and sleeping one on the sofa and one on the floor using the bedding provided and got a better night's sleep the second night. The site is in some disrepair and is clearly under renovation. In spite of being in a nonsmoking room, the entire hallway of our floor smelled strongly of smoke and our room smelled of it as well, although it was clear work had been done to the room to reduce the odor. Overall, it was not perfect, but it was just what we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with the extra towels and linens we needed, as well as a couple of toothbrushes for kids who forgot theirs. I would definitely stay there again, although I fear once renovations are complete, it will no longer be in our budget.

Needs Improvement

Well where do I begin…. Ok well, we checked in as family of 5 adults and one child. 2 night stay. Pros: Guest services and staff people are friendly. Breakfast isn’t too bad. You have a choice of orange juice, apple juice, water, coffee, 3 choices of cereal, bagels with cream cheese and other breads and you can make your own waffles. There is a Checkers across the street. Cons: Where do I begin…. The pictures on the site are far more prettier than when you actually get to your room. The rooms smell of mold and other smells I can’t describe. Lysol and wipes are helpful. There is a policy for non smoking but you walk down halls and it reeks of tabaco and marijuana. They don’t clean under furniture, there was dust and debris. The sofa bed mattress was very squeaky and old… very uncomfortable and should be replaced. There was a lack of towels and comforters especially for 6 people. We had to constantly ask for towels. The curtains were dirty. The key cards weren’t activated about 5 times for our two night stay which was very annoying. The bathroom towel holder kept coming off. There was a knob missing to a dresser. The carpets were stained. The elevators were filthy. This place definitely needs some upgrading/ updating and should be thoroughly cleaned. I was too far in our plans to look for another motel at an affordable price but we made the best of the situation. Would I ever come back or recommend this place. NO!

Looks fine from the outside but the interior is in poor condition. Scuffs and scratches everwhere, worn furniture, TV didn't work (turned on but there was no reception), toilet didn't flush right, fixture on the sink didn't fit. At least the bed was comfortable enough and towels weren't stiff like I was expecting after looking at the condition of everytbong else.
