"5 star service from this afforable, Victorian hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, have the scones, all home made. Rooms were spacious. The only negative was there no electrical outlets in bathroom."

"We rated this place 9/10. It was clean, no lift/elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. So we had to haul all our luggage to the top floor. No AC, but we were able to open the window and let in a nice breeze. Spacious and cozy feeling room (with fireplace, we also didn't use). Modern bathroom, shower pressure was good. On-site parking but we didn't have a car so that didn't matter to us. Walkable to food and shopping areas. Close to the National Park which is beautiful and highly recommend! We visited: Aug 2026"

"Location is perfect for short walks to dinner & shopping. Given it is city center the room was very quiet at night. Parking for a mid size suv was challenging but doable - the underground garage is the way to go. Traffic on the square is horrible at almost all times - the backups stretch for blocks."
