Top Balfour Ferry Terminal Hotel Reviews
Hume Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location, great room, comfy bed, helpful staff, incredible eating options right in the hotel. I will definitely stay here again when next in Nelson. For traveller info, there is no parking at the hotel but there is a parade next door. Easy to pay online and it is inexpensive. All 3 restaurants on site are fantastic. You can walk anywhere from this hotel. Hallway noise can be an issue due to the age of the hotel so pack earplugs if you are sensitive to sound."
Alpine Inn & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"This is the quietest place I have ever stayed! Room was great - 2 chairs and small table by window, leather loveseat in other end of room. Lots of lamps for reading. Fridge including nice sized freezer, 2 place settings, huge comfy kind bed...nothing not to like."
Villa Motel
10/10 Excellent
"The lady at the check-in desk is friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Room is a bit smaller than typical - adequate for 1 person, might be a bit small for 2 people. Sounds (voices, TV) in the next room can be heard through the wall, just the sounds, not the words. Otherwise, this motel is quiet. Overall, it is a nice place to stay and I would stay again."
Kootenay Wild

"Unique and fascinating historical trip into another time. The gardens and walkways are full of so much variety and ancient trees that could probably tell some stories. We loved exploring and taking in the views!"
The Sentinel
