"Wonderful Tibetan hotel, a treasure in so many ways. Lovely people, lovely place and a lovely location. Minutes to the Dalai Lama Temple, the Kora circuit and the markets. The place itself is beautiful and a paradise away from the hub bub of taxi stalls, markets and the energy of the city. The Hummingbird Cafe was delicious! We ate Tibetan foods everyday and loved each meal. We bought a beautiful artisan Tibetan picture frame from their mini store in the cafe. All proceeds go toward the Tibetan cultural and educational programs. Bravo Norbulingkha Institute, thank you. We adored our stay. "

Comfortable accommodation surrounded by dense forest, walking trails and incredible views, with the village of Bir only a 10-minute taxi ride away. I would like to say a special thank you to Shisha at the front desk for being so helpful. Aghishek, Nikita, Vasu, Jitendu thank you all for the amazing first class service , I’ve felt welcomed , everything has been so easy, the room has been cleaned to a high standard. The restaurant staff and cooks also have been to a high standard of food and service I can’t recommend highly enough , I would especially like to thank Varun, Rahul Bhati, Vineet, Rajesh, Rahul, Dinesh, Jochin. Food is amazing with lots of choice for all diets and needs, and very tasty. In the rooms there every toiletry you need , I had packed so many toiletries but did not need to use any as the shampoo, conditioner, body was, body lotion, face wash was all beautiful and natural ingredients ( and I am fussy ). This is a perfect place to retreat , rest, and enjoy the most beautiful surroundings of the mountains in a five star resort with five star service . I look forward to returning. "
