We stayed at the Lynwood Inn on this trip to Cape Breton (we visit family living in CB every year) because they have a high speed electric car charger onsite and we now have an electric car. Unforturnatly, the high speed charger was unable to charge our car and the standby low speed unit was in use when we needed a charge, so I had to visit a low speed charger located at the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and walk back to the hotel for the night and back to the museum in the morning to retrieve our car. Nova Scotia east of the Halifax metro area is an EV charger wasteland and, in spite of our experience, the Lynwood Inn should be commended for working to change that.

Cute and convenient
This was a very cute little boutique inn. It was very clean and within walking distance of shopping and food. The only complaint is that the bed was a little hard, but we will got lots of rest. Would definitely go back again.

Great Location
A perfect little spot to enjoy Baddeck on foot. Close to food and sights and entertainment and shopping. Well appointed rooms, comfy in a style of the early years. Enjoyed having restaurant attached, a Ceilidh across the street. Also enjoyed having laundry facility on site.

Overall, a very nice place but some things weren’t right. Room had several items in disrepair - TV not working cause electrical plug failed. Electrical power bars made up for lack of wall outlets… didn’t seem right. Pillows on bed were too small, too soft, no support. Beds were hard and slightly cavitied at each body position.

We checked the TV in the room you stayed in and it seemed to be working fine. The power bar in your room is to allow us to have coffee maker, microwave as well as fridge all in same area in the room for convenience. Also, we certainly could have replaced your pillows if you found them to soft.We hope you enjoyed your visit to Cape Breton.

Family of 3. Clean rooms, nice balcony off bedroom. Very clean washroom facilities and would highly recommend and stay again. Dining onsite was.delicious but def priced for tourist season. Only1 critique: breakfast really high priced for what is offered, should be priced more fairly for your guests.so they.dont.go elsewhere for.first meal of the day.
