"The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Everyone from the owners who made you feel like family to all the servers were excellent. The owners spoke English. Although Steffi did not speak a lot of English she tried and always had a smile and was delightful. The tub was an unexpected surprise but a very good surprise. There was also a shower. I highly recommend this gasthof and if we come back we will definitely stay here again."

"Over €100/night for a very basic room with window straight onto a busy road is too much. A very noisy family group let the children play outside their room in a tiled hallway which was not conducive to restful sleep. Disappointed that the buns at breakfast were warmed in the oven rather than fresh. The Latte Macchiato this morning was made with sour milk which is an acquired taste, though not mine."

"Nothing to complain about. Great spot and reasonable pricing model. Decent local German restaurant/bar on site. Get a good bang for your buck. Obviously not the most luxurious spot in town. But a great historic place and nice hosts. Would definitely recommend it for a overnight stay in that area if you are on a tight budget. Thank you."

"Pension zur Sonne ist eigentlich ein Gästehaus ohne direkten Ansprechpartner. Man zieht seine Zimmerkarte aus einem Automaten. Wen das nicht stört und gerne Treppen steigt, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Parken direkt vor der Tür. Wenige Meter zum Bäcker, Gasthaus und Getränkemarkt. "

"Das nett und praktisch eingerichtete Zimmer ist in Wirklichkeit eine umgebaute Autogarage. Der einzige Zugang erfolgt von außen über eine Terrassentür mit einem Vorhang. Über die Sicherheit und Privatsphäre sollte man sich besser keine Gedanken machen. Um den Raum richtig zu lüften bleibt nur die offene Tür, und somit freies Blickfeld von der Straße auf das Bett. Natürlich besteht die Möglichkeit bei offener Tür den Vorhang vor zu ziehen...aber einschlafen könnte in einem Fiasko enden.. Im Raum...

"Eine gute einfache Übernachtung auf dem Weg nach Fulda. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind zur Verfügung. Gut mit dem Bus erreichbar. Gastgeber sind unkompliziert. Ein Waschbecken für ein ganzes Stockwerk ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zum Glück war ich allein. "
