Rart kursted i bakkerne

Charmerende kursted ved lille by i naturskønt område. Smukke og velholdte bygninger. Lækkert, omend lidt dunkelt værelse. Meget venligt personale. Benyttede ikke spa faciliteter. De så fine ud. God bar med mulighed for at spise.

Der gräfliche Park liegt mitten in der Stadt und ist trotzdem ruhig und malerisch. Das Hotel hat schöne und gepflegte Sauna- und Schwimmmöglichkeiten, das Personal ist vorbildlich freundlich und hilfreich, auch an den Zimmern selbst gibt es auf hohem Niveau nur wenig zu kritisieren. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Gelungener Mix aus Historie und Moderne

Schönes Hotel in einer traumhaften Umgebung (alte Parkanlage). Sehr gute Küche. Hotel besticht durch den Mix von Historie und Moderne = moderne und luxuriöse Behaglichkeit.

Das Essen und der Service im Restaurant waren gut. Der Service in der Rezeption war dagegen ein Desaster. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Mangel und wir wollten es gegen ein anderes tauschen. Hier war der Herr in der Rezeption leider extrem unflexibel und alles andere als kundenfreundlich. Erst nach schwierigen Diskussionen und reichlich Zeit bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer. In Relation zum Zimmerpreis war das inakzeptabel. Wir werden hier nicht mehr buchen.

Das Hotel Gräflicher Park Health &Balance Resort mitten in einem herrlichen Park mit altem Baumbestand in Bad Driburg ist eines der ältesten Hotels in Deutschland. Es besteht seit dem 18.Jahrhundert und hieß früher "Kurhaus"-Hotel. Es ist eigentlich ein Ensemble verschiedener Gebäude aus unterschiedlichen Epochen. Heute ist es ein modernes Wellness-Hotel das wunderschön gepflegt ist und eine Brücke zwischen Geschichte und Moderne schlägt. Toller Wellness-Bereich mit Außenpool, der von innen zugänglich ist. Gutes Essen, prima Atmosphäre. Sehr, sehr empfehlenswert für eine Wellnessauszeit am Wochenende. Allerdings ist die Gegend, in der die kleine Kurstadt liegt (Weserbergland Ostwestfalen) recht abgelegen und von den städtischen Zentren in NRW gut 2-3 Autostunden entfernt, da keine Autobahn in der unmittelbaren Nähe ist.

Positiv: Spa, Außenpool und Gastronomie Negativ: Die Zimmereinrichtung passt sich nicht nur dem Stil des herrschaftlichen Hauses an, nein die Badmöbel z.B. sind vermutlich auch schon sehr viele Jahre alt.

Wellnesshotel in historischem Ambiente.

Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderschönen Privatpark und beherbergt seit über 200 Jahren Bade- und Kurgäste. Vor rund 10 Jahren fand eine umfangreiche Sanierung statt, die neben der mondänen Eingangshalle und dem modernen Spabereich auch eine umfassende Renovierung der Zimmer beinhaltete. Einzig die Bäder wirken wenig schmuck und sehr nüchtern im Vergleich zu den individuellen und meist sehr geschmackvollen Zimmern. Die Weitläufigkeit der verschiedenen, größtenteils miteinander verbundenen Gebäude macht für mich einen besonderen Reiz aus, die Kombination aus historischer Bausubstanz und Mobiliar mit den modernen Akzenten und Farben tut ein Übriges. Für mich alles in allem eine Oase der Entspannung.

We zijn hier in de herfstvakantie twee nachten geweest en ik moet zeggen dat het hotel mij niet overtuigd heeft. Entourage is echter prachtig. Helaas was er iets mis gegaan tijdens de boeking via Expedia, waardoor zij dachten dat onze kinderen geen 14 en 17 waren, maar tussen de 0 en 3 jaar. We hadden een double twin geboekt, maar kregen die dus niet. Personeel deed wel haar best om het snel op te lossen, maar het extra bed wat uiteindelijk geleverd is was echt niet goed. Daarnaast moesten we ook zo'n 50 euro per nacht extra betalen, omdat de kinderen ouder dan verwacht waren. Jammer. Ook hadden wij niet - overigens onze eigen schuld - de voorzieningen van te voren geboekt. Gevolg was dat er geen enkele behandeling, behalve een massage, te boeken was. Jammer, omdat hierdoor de daginvulling voor mijn vrouw en dochter wel heel erg beperkt was. Ik heb samen met mijn zoon op de nabijgelegen golfbaan gegolfd. Prachtige baan.
