not the most comfortable stay
This was a mediocre stay. Only one working plug in the room and it was across the room from the bed so if you use a CPAP, then you will have a problem. They are strict in the 2pm checkin but let us leave our bags in the lobby. The breakfast decision is tricky because it is 120baht for toast and hard boiled egg but there is not much else around the hotel. The staff was brusque at times and we got yelled at when we didn't understand that we had to leave our shoes in the lobby. The room was very basic but clean so if all you need is a clean place to sleep then it will be fine. There is definitely really really loud music until 11pm though. Lots of outdoor seating in the garden. That was nice.

Very near with the temples and the old city as well as night market. All are walking distance. Easy to catch grab as well. The room is new just no chair inside the room. The hotel is quaint and small. Misleading in terms of the words “resort” since no swimming pool etc. But all staff are super friendly and welcoming. Price is very reasonable too. Got an open air pub just in front which made noise until 11pm. But other than that it’s really a quiet place.

Great location for exploring ancient Ayutthaya.
We had a triple garden room and it was a bit dated and really requires an upgrade. However it was spotlessly clean, the staff are welcoming, freindly and helpful and the location for Ayutthaya sightseeing is perfect. We will return.

I really like this hotel. The location cannot be bettered. Only complaint would be that the TV didnt work and there needs to be consideration for some channels in foreign languages to suit the guests.

I called to ask about massage service and ask about the reservation. We booked 2 rooms in the courtyard.The owner said she gave my room to another client because they called in first. I said I booked these 2 rooms together. She said that she will give us 1 courtyard room and another room on the 2nd floor. She also said that if you are not happy, you can cancel that reservation but of course no refund because we booked with Expedia app.unexceptabe.We booked and paid for these rooms well in advance. She simply gave one of or rooms to a walk in . Very very rude. Not recommended at all. Expedia should take this one out of the system. The owner was so rude , not the staff. Sad to see.

look… fine for the price. right next to a few ruins, pretty place with relaxing courtyard. A/C works great, WiFi is fast. but also had a lot of trouble organising activities and communicating issues with the staff, who speak very little english (a problem for us, maybe not for others) and often can’t even be found. Despite this they were always friendly, besides the manager who was always abrupt and tried to concinve me I didn’t have a booking. Lots of mosquitos in the room, hot water was temperamental, beds were very, very firm. Its a fairly long and arduous walk into town for food (and to a travel agent to organise tours/trips). Maybe the strangest part of our stay was the fact that you’ve got to lock the front gate each time you enter and exit with a padlock, which if done at night makes an inordinate amount of noise. Fine for a night or two, wouldn’t linger past that.

Hammock in the Garden
A great location next to the main ruins and an easy walk to restaurants. The room was newly renovated and very clean. Friendly service. The best part for me was lounging in the hammock in the lush courtyard garden.

Good location but everything else....
Stayed three nights, at first they couldn’t find our reservation, then tried to get us to pay more for a family room (for two people)? Checked with us twice during our stay asking when we were leaving (???). Very disorganised. Room was basic, one tiny window with no view, bed VERY hard and people crashing and banging in the room above us meant no sleep. They did not service the room at all during our stay. Breakfast was a joke, after the first morning we bought our own. Pictures definitely make it look better than it actually is. Felt like we got scammed a bit and other guests were saying the same. Saying that, if you only care about location then it’s pretty much unbeatable in relation to seeing the sights just be prepared and don’t have high expectations!

Walking distance to temples; hard bed & bugs
Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us book a boat trip last minute and arrange for transportation to the train station. Breakfast was included and we thought it was pretty standard fare. The location is great in that it is right across from a temple and a large park with beautiful ruins. On the other hand, there was some construction or digging going on in the plot next to The Park which created quite a bit of daytime noise. Additionally, there are no businesses or restaurants on the same block so it took about 15 minutes, maybe more, to walk to the nearest bar/restaurant. The bed was incredibly hard and we got our worst nights sleep on it. The walls are very thin so we heard our neighbors coughing all night and then they got into an argument in the morning. There were mosquitos in the room but I asked and was provided a can of spray which was effective. There were ants all over the shower. We would not stay here again, despite the wonderful service we received from the staff.

The Park Ayutthaya was A-OK
The hotel was in a great location very near to the historical park. The breakfast was cooked-to-order. There was free wi-fi that was not super-fast, but serviceable. The Owner/Manager was very helpful with planning which ruins to visit and how to get there. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's above backpacker status, I think.

The staff here are fantastic, and are very accommodating. Breakfast was yummy too. Unfortunately, the room was a little old and outdated, unlike the pictures we saw, and I think there were bed bugs because I came home with lots of bites. If they work on some of their facilities, it’s a central and good place to stay!

Average and dissapointing stay
An average guest house. Older guest house with big rooms. Good location for the main temples, but you will need a tuk tuk taxi to get pretty much anywhere. The closest restaurant or store is at least a 10-15 minute walk away. The air conditioning and electricity went out in the middle of the night and was out for several hours. The owner blamed the weather and yes it was raining a bit on and off, but so lightly that it made not sense for the weather to have any factor in a power outage. On a positive note hotels .com refunded my money in full for the room becauase of this issue. That was great. Hotels . Com comes through again, but the hotel itself I would definitely not stay at again. Especially not for 1100 baht or $32 a night.

Enjoyed my stay. Owner is very friendly and offers good suggestions about sites to see. Simple but nice breakfast was a good start to each day. It's reasonably priced and while not the most modern, it has charm and character that made it a place I'd definitely stay at again.

Amazing location amidst the ruins
Great location and staff, comfy bed with clean sheets in an ancient building. We had a large room with ensuite and it was sufficient for a night but definitely could use some repairs. The garden is lovely but the tables need to be cleaned. Breakfast is fine, if you're not in a rush and the a/c was wonderful after the heat.

A charming garden setting
The owner is very kind, helpful, and hard-working. He is quite knowledgeable about all the transportation schedules, and I highly recommend the river tour he suggests. The giant gold Buddha is magnificent. The dining area is located in a lovely garden with overhead foliage. I was upgraded to a nice bungalow on the main floor. The location was excellent; it was easy to get up early and just cross the street for great photos.

Grubby hotel in nice location. First time I had a padlock on the room door instead of the normal room key! Definitely not 3 star. Service was good tho - the tv remote didnt work so the 1 staff member moved the tv from the next room. Aircon was good. Same guy also made a nice breakfast for us even though we were well past the 10am limit - closer to 12.00. Nice garden.

Not as advertised. The internet was constantly going out and would have to be reset. The bed was hard as a rock and there was no attempt to clean our room or change our towels while there. The toilet leaked from around the base and when i reported it was told to put a towel on the floor to soak up the water. The breakfast was a joke, all we got the first morning was 2 eggs, toast and a cup of coffee. The second morning breakfast we did get a piece of sausage and a glass of orange juice. The staff was nice but that wasn't enough to over shadow the bad at this place.

Excellent location, superb host
Superb location and really pleasant stay, it is an authentic Thai property that fits in well with its surroundings. The owner was very helpful and made the best 6 egg omelette ever. He should be the chef as well. Really recommend this place if you want to be at the heart of the Historical Park. Cannot recommend it enough if you want to learn about the history and see how Siam use to be.

Serene oasis
I loved it! I could step outside the front gate and was immediately on the temple grounds. Perfect location, I couldn't have found a better spot. I'm very pleased.

the hotel was nice with a great breakfast to start the day with. Staff were very helpful with tour info and motor bike rentals.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the location. The property is in very poor condition. Generally not very clean. The toilet seat in our room was broken. We reported it immediately to be told that they knew about it but couldn't find a seat to match! ( the actual seat was there just needed to be fixed to the toilet) . The toilet seat remained like this for the whole of our stay. Your website advertises daily housekeeping. The room was not cleaned on the first day. When I reported this the reason given was that they were busy. It was cleaned the following day. However this was the only clean it received during a 4 night stay. On the last day we were informed that room cleaning was only carried out on request. Regardless of the price of this accommodation I expect the basic hygiene to be of a resonable standard. The photos on your website give a completly wrong impression of the property.

In the middle of the ruins
Conveniently located near the ruins, a short walk to the night market and restaurants. The host is very friendly and offered his help as needed. The hotel is clean and provide the basic accommodation. The bed quality can be improved. Other than that a pleasant stay. I recommend staying in the rooms by the side of the main building.

Excellent Location
The proprietor was fantastic. Charming, keen to get us good deals on transport and arranged a first class river boat trip. The hotel was listed as three star. This was not accurate. The facilities needed to be updated as they were very basic. You get what you pay for though. The price much cheaper than other places in the area. Would recommend to some friends but not all, some would think it too lacking in comforts!

Not 3 star. Bed is hard, sagging and bumpy.
This guesthouse is located by the park. Its a large building on a large lot. Rooms are built along the sides of the large building with a large open area in the center. People with children may find this property more suitable for children to run free. We believe we would have been more comfortable in a typical backpacker accommodation where we had been staying. This guesthouse was more expensive and did not offer any more comfort. Its not a 3 star facility. Unfortunately, I believe we received the worst room. The bed not only sagged but also protruded in areas. It was a typical hard mattress that must have been damaged by a heavy crate and then folded for delivery. Unbelievably uncomfortable. Never seen anything as bad in several decades of budget travel. I'm in my early 60s and my gray haired Asian wife is 5 years younger. She believes that she was being treated as an escort women. Who knows? This is the first place that I have rated poorly.

Utterly atrocious!
Photos of rooms highly unrepresentative. Room was basic, untidily decorated. Bed mattress very uncomfortable and walls so thin TV on in next room prevented me from sleeping. In bathroom, shower fitting and toilet seat broken. Window into bathroom painted over in thin brown paint, looks almost as if someone had smeared faeces all over the glass - not pretty! Wifi terrible, had to use phone hotspot.

Had a really good stay at Park ayuttaya. I loved the location and Mr Winn was very helpful and accommodating. This stay felt more like a guesthouse then a hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Ayuttaya. Did I mention the owner was great, I can't say enough good things about him, this hotel is awesome because of him.

What makes this hotel better is the owner, he really goes out of the way to accommodate the guest!I personally saw him sit with several guest to help out with directions to attractions and tours!

Peaceful, charming place
I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Park, the owner is super nice and helpful, calling a tuk tuk for me, and having his friend drop me off at the 7 for free. free bicycles to use on premises. when a fresh mango dropped from the huge tree in the courtyard he cut it up and served it to me, what a treat, he didn't have to do that. The location is not in the middle of a neighborhood, but there is a excellent night market about ten minutes wall if you choose to walk, however, the location is right across from a huge park containing many old relics, this is the area you want to be if you desire to go on an ancient Wat adventure. the room was clean with cold air con and had everything I wanted except good wifi, which can be had just outside the room. I would definitely stay again. Great free simple breakfast in the morning as well. More than pleased.

Pleasant stay but will think twice to stay there a
Walking distance to 2 big temples and night market. Bus terminal is far and hotel offers to buy the bus tickets which turned out to be over 200 baths more as their fees per person. We find this to be too much.

A fantastic hotel with brilliant staff. We were thoroughly looked after by the owner who helped us with teh best routes to walk around Ayatthaya and informed us of the Chinese new year celebrations going on and how to get there. Room was quiet, clean and large - very good. Location is as close as you can get to the sights of the old town. We were only there for 1 night and couldn't have chosen a better place
