No food facilities, a reception that shuts up shop at 11pm, a room that was tatty and with A/C that was out of order.

There was no baby cot, but on the Expedia site I put that the child was under 1. I was informed that this was your fault.

This will be a lovely hotel again
Unfortunately the hotel is being refurbished but remains open. Shower didn't work properly, didn't work this out until 0630 and it was too late to complain. Staff were lovely and doing the best they could. Was worried by the presence of a security guard, this was compounded by the reception door glass being smashed.
The restaurant was closed as well, this was not noted when I booked and was a total disappointment.
Air conditioning was hanging off the wall.
This will be a lovely hotel again once the refurb is finished, however, for now it is rather disappointing.

Hotel was ok it was a bit a tired however work was going on. It was a shame the restaurant was shut. The receptionist was very helpful
Why is the property available to be booked online during the night if there isn’t anyone there to check in guests? You should close your property online between 11pm to 7am like many other properties do! Very disappointed when I booked, paid online and when arrived, no one there to check me in. And the funniest part is that the property claim to have 24h room service. Another lie, otherwise I would have been checked in.

For the price it was disappointing , paper cups accompanying the kettle , extemly basic , and was told we didn’t have to be in by any certain time as security was on the front desk all night after 11pm to let us in. We were stuck out in the cold for half an hour trying to arouse the security (very obviously sleeping ) ring the doorbell banging on the door then having to ring the hotel , no answer but we could hear it ringing from outside, we were left standing thinking how were we going to get in, then emerged the security from the back , opened the door and didn’t even speak one word to us, how rude as we had been stuck outside in the cold for 30mins , would not choose here again

OK but…
Stayed here previously when visiting Waddesdon Manor as handy location. Large bed room and comfortable bed adequate bathroom and all clean. However, no bar or restaurant facilities. Only 5 vehicles in car park whilst local Premier Inn is packed. I wonder why?
We stayed here three years ago and it was convenient and satisfactory.
This time no restaurant facilities so had to look elsewhere to eat.
Room was ok bed quite comfortable but tea/coffee facilities a bit sparse and paper cups a first.
To be honest the hotel is quite tired and needs refurbising to keep up with standards required these days.
The staff were very friendly and courteous
Cleanliness is of little consequence when you have been woken up in the early hours of the morning by a violent drunk who had fought past the security guards in a vain attempt to get more alcohol and was hammering on guest's doors until calmed down by security. The broken glass door is a reminder of this violent incident. We had paid in advance for 3 night's but left after 2 , the receptionist not even bothering to ask why, far less offering a refund. No restaurant , no bar, a shabby room , a broken hairdryer (and no replacement available from reception) and all of this for ONLY £115 per night. We will dine out on this dreadful experience at every possible opportunity and have vowed never ever to stay at any Best Western "hotel" in future.

Basic and tired, but clean and comfortable.
The hotel was fine for what I wanted: A bed for the night after meeting friends and to charge my electric car. The staff were friendly and wanted to help, and offered me a free beer on check in, which was appreciated. The room was very clean.
What was disappointing was that the rooms were tired, with a very small TV that didn't appear to have any HD channels and no power sockets near the bed. Also I was very surprised to see the hotel was not serving breakfast, blaming Covid even though restrictions would have allowed it.
It was functional and reasonable value for the price paid, but I won't be rushing back.

Makeover due
Didn't know restaurant was closed so only a take out breakfast, which we declined. Reception not always manned but some big bloke with 'Security' on his back sat in the area all the time, playing games on his phone. At one point there were several men hanging around outside and a woman with pink hair, smoking. The fire doors were all open. The beds were hard so we didn't sleep well. The tap dripped. The loo seat was loose. The aircon unit didn't appear to work and just flashed all night along with the fire alarm. The rooms weren't serviced but we got more teabags etc. from Reception. Room was a good size but drab, brown, with unattractive art work. We've stayed with you before and it was fine. I think this place could just do with a makeover.

Tired looking
It's an average hotel thats in need of a spruce up. Most of what I saw inside and outside was looking tired. Signs of better days.
I would have like to have known before booking that the restaurant was closed and only a packed breakfast was available. Restrictions were lifted a while ago so not sure why this is.
Booked a last minute hotel room on hotels.com at around 10.30pm. One of my crew was working late so didn’t check-in until 1am. Security guard was sat down drinking vodka with another guest, both were very rude to my staff saying they couldn’t check in after 10pm. One of them got very aggressive so my staff member left and had to book a room at the local premier inn. Avoid this place at all cost. I’ll be escalating this complaint to best western Management!
On arriving there was security on the door...found out the hotel was housing the homeless during covid...drinking alcohol outside and asking for cigarettes...room was not brill...shower and bathroom very dated...bed worn out...toilet did not flush and Internet would not connect due to security issues...paying guest should not be staying here while homeless being housed
Where do i start ?
Security on the door , aircon didnt work went to complain 3 times then ended up being a fan. Door key deactivated every time i left the room then i had to return to reception to reactivate.
During pandemic , restaurant closed but drinks where available from reception , no ice have to get your own from the ice machine- great service NOT !! Normally Best Western hotel's are of a good standard but i wouldnt recommend this one to my worst enemy.
Just seems a bit dated, hallways are dark, tiny tv’s, limited hotel Sevices due to COVID, you’d expect Hotel prices to be much cheaper if the hotels are basically only offering a bed.
