Booked online I paid the total directly with Hotels.com which was confirmed on my arrival.
The luggage staff is claiming for tips as if it's an obligation..if you don't have change they act unhappy...weird! gave a dollar and the smile was back...
I just entenred my room that 5 mn later, the cleaners try to enter my room without knocking and insist to enter even though it was locked..got quiet scared at first.
The restaurant is unorganised, the greeting is poor..ended up having a tea only.
Room service food was cold for my only meal there.

Waiting for my transfert to leave, took a drink in the lobby to access internet as it was not reliable in the room. Ordered a drink and paid for it while waiting.
As I stood up to leave the lady receptionnist ran to me leaving her desk "You have not paid!!!", asks me to come back to the desk, here they are 4 of them looking for an email confirmation from Hotels.com..then the "manager" goes to me "Ok you can go" as if I was arrested by the immigration office, no apologies, nothing for the humiliation
.Somehow this incident actually spoiled the bit I liked about the hotel (hammam, swimming pool, lobby area, garden terrace.)
I will definitly not renew the experience on my next visit in Awassa.
