When reading about the story of this Tree I found it quite fascinating, the fact of being the only living organism within miles and that its water source was still unknown. We drove from Manama half of the country (Bahrain is tiny) to see this tree. When we got there it was disappointing. I mean there was no signs, no information about it, people climbing the tree and carving their names on it.

Still, it did make for a great excuse for a random #roadtrip #goldenhour.

"Just back from a stay at Sofitel Bahrain and honestly, it was excellent. The hotel is in a stunning spot right on the beach with beautiful sea views and a peaceful, private feel. Staff were genuinely warm and attentive—nothing felt forced. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had that subtle luxury feel without being overdone. The Friday brunch was a real highlight—loads of variety and great atmosphere. Spa is worth a visit too, and the pool area was perfect for a proper switch-off. All in all, a brilliant mix of comfort, service, and scenery. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing break in Bahrain with a touch of class. 🌅👌"
