The reason I got decided for this hotel was because they offer breakfast, but it was a disappointment, because they offer a paper sack with small sunny delight juice, packet of two small blueberries cupcake and a granola bar, and also the shower valve was not working correctly and half of the water was coming out in the bottom, also even though we ask for non smoking every night when we return to room, it always had a smoking smell, like if someone went inside the room an smoke.

Didn't see on app where I needed to put a $100 deposit down, now I have to wait 3-7 biz dAys for it to be returned to my card, all though I could have paid high atm prices to give them cash. I did not feel safe at this hotel. There were people with guns at the parking lot and wasn’t sure if they were cops so I told the staff and the lady said everything was fine when literally there was something going on there.

The birds at night are, no exaggeration, LOUD, the highway noise, LOUD. Oh, the connecting door to the next room, unsafe. The voices from the next room, and they spoke at a normal volume, could be heard plainly. Never again no matter how desperate I am.

Stayed at Americas Best Value Inn Austin University recently and overall had a pretty good experience. The highlight for me was definitely the rooms. They felt modernized, surprisingly spacious, and more updated than I expected for the price range. The room was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space to relax without feeling cramped. The staff was friendly, check-in was smooth, and the location made it easy to get around Austin. A couple small things could definitely improve the overall value of the stay. The “breakfast included” is more of a light grab-and-go snack setup than a full breakfast, mainly consisting of muffins, a granola bar, and a small juice. The vending machine could also benefit from a bigger variety of snacks and drinks for guests staying longer or arriving late. Another thing I noticed was that the pool never seemed to be open during my stay, which was a little disappointing since amenities like that are part of what guests consider when booking. Considering the limited breakfast and unavailable pool, I do think the pricing could be adjusted slightly to better reflect the amenities currently being offered. That said, the updated and spacious rooms were genuinely nice, and overall it was still a comfortable stay for a short trip.

Check in was easy, the room was decent enough for the price. There was a lot of overnight “traffic” coming and going that kept me up most nights. 2 of the 4 nights I stayed, I was woken up at 1-2 am by shouting and slamming doors.
