「Close to center of town and also to the castle. Both a short walk, parking can be challenging so leave your car and just walk from your stay. Breakfast included, and host Catherine was super helpful with our heavy luggage.」

「Beware: This is a ghost hotel with absentee owner/staff. Unresponsive to email, and phone calls. Very limited check in availability. No air conditioning or ceiling fans. And an inflexible cancellation period - 7 days!!」

「Our hosts were amazing. Anything we needed they provided, even dental floss. Very unique setting and perfect location to attend a wedding at the Chateau. Just a level 8 minute walk. We would definitely return to stay again.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer.」

「The hotel is chasing, as in old charm. But beyond the charm, a reality come with it. It would need a lot of renovation, espacially with the bathroom. The shower in my room was a prefab shower module from the 80's. Completely run down, almost unusable, potentially dangerous as you could easily slide and fall in it. It may not be the case for all the rooms, but make sure to ask if the bathroom as been renovated! The staff was nice, and apolegatic about it. The owners need to do something about it....

La chambre est spacieuse, agréable et dispose d'une belle salle de bain tout aussi grande. La piscine, bercée par le chant des cigales et offrant une magnifique vue, est un vrai plus. 「Had a great stay at the property, which is in a nice small village outside of Carcassonne. The breakfast was very nice, with various breads and jams fruits and such. The bathroom was quite large and the room had ample pace and such for clothes. There is a restaurant about 50m away that is very good. Probably the best part is that the proprietrix is wonderful.」
