It's a very old hotel needing TLC! The bar person was a pleasant guy who ushered us to a booking clerk (?) at the other end of bar who btw showed no interest in us waiting to be checked in. The bar person looked awkward and unsure whether to help us or not.
The room was a standard 2 single bed room that we had no intention of staying in other than to sleep. I'd say its a pretty shabby cupboard type room with 1 cup for 1 guest, no cutlery and no selection of condiments i.e. no coffee sachets, 2 tea-bag sachets and a lot of sugar. A crack in the only window by the bed. Not good! Cheapest accommodation in a handy location for the night but boy oh boy, its not a pretty, welcoming place. No meals, only snacks upon request. Its been a few years since we stayed there and well, compared to many hotels in the area where we have stayed, this one is no longer any good! (No elevator - god help anyone staying on the 2nd or 3rd floor with heavy luggage. Apparently, the hotel has recently had renovations? Hmm! NO parking available on site! I will not recommend this hotel.
