Nice property. Friendly staff. One negative is the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings with few other dining options close by.

Beautiful location. Close to the city but still very quiet with beautiful views of the countryside. Food at the restaurant is not cheap but worth it. The room was disappointing though. Good size but very bare. Not enough space for clothes, no coffee or tea and noisy old air con. Nothing that felt superior. Breakfast is a mixed bag. Good quality ingredients but limited choice of bread (one!) and tinned salad fruit. This is also the only one place I have been where you have to prepare your own eggs. This is messy and not in line with the standard of the restaurant.

It’s a PARADISE ! If you want to be at peace in a 4 stars hotel where the old is beautifully mixed with the new and if you want to make an experience of fine dining in a 5 stars restaurant where the chef is one of the best , do not hesitate to choose this hotel . Nature at his best and and a mixt of luxury and simplicity !

6/10 Okay

Being rated four stars, I expected more than was available. Small towels for shower, only coffee machine with two capsules, no kettle, only one bottle of water per room. I thought the appearance was fine but let down by lack of ‘little extras’ that make a big difference. Would I stay again - No.

Disappointed

We were disappointed, mostly because the room was freezing cold, and remained that way throughout our stay. The temperature was controlled by reception for some strange reason, but even turned up full, it didn’t warm the place sufficiently. There were no robes, slippers, washcloths, coffee machine, shampoo, conditioner, kettle. In short, not worthy of being called a privilege room in a four star hotel. The staff were polite but disinterested
