Hampton Inn Freeport/Brunswick

Hampton Inn Freeport/Brunswick

10/10 Excellent
"Came in late at night was tired and grumpy from driving. Hotel is getting a facelift so parking was very limited due to construction equipment. The night person Aiesha was very understanding and patient with me, but I was still grumpy. Did apologize to her the next day when I saw her, she stated no worries but appreciated me saying something. The room was good but the fridge in the room was only able to run for two hours and then shut down...it is designed this way and shame on Hampton Inn for using these devices not cool we lost some stuff over night was not aware of this feature. Spoke with Amanda in the morning she apologized for the inconvenience but told her it was not her fault you just work there. Amanda asked if I wanted maintenance to come to the room. Stated was no reason to since they can not change the controls on the fridge. We went out for the day and came back later and found that are fridge was replaced with one with controls on the inside to keep it cold. Have to give Amanda props for going above and beyond for fixing this and shame on the owners of this hotel for using refrigerators that shut off after two hours! Do not be skimping on your customers if not for the two people I have mentioned I would probably be not using Hampton Inn in the future."

"Excellent location. Right across street from the train station. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and quaint shops. Gorgeous outdoor space with fire pit. Several places to sit and relax or play games in the lobby or on the covered porch. Staff was extremely friendly and available. Rooms were immaculate and had all amenities needed."

"Handicapped room was very accessible. Lots of door slamming in early morning. My room was 103 across from the employee entrance to the office and the voices carried right to my room. Disappointing breakfast. Nothing warm except toast. Expected hot food."
