The best feature about this property is the indoor arcade & race track and the indoor water park (I was unable to experience unfortunately). Dining options are very limited and the staff at the one diner located inside were rude and uprofessional. Staff will see you waiting to be seen but won't approach you to inform you how long to wait or what you're waiting for.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience at the property was less than stellar. It's really disappointing when you're excited about amenities like the indoor arcade and water park, only to find out that they weren't fully available or accessible during your stay. And encountering rude and unprofessional staff can really put a damper on the whole experience. It's frustrating when you're left waiting without any communication or acknowledgment from the staff. Your feedback is valuable, though, and hopefully, it'll prompt them to make some positive changes to ensure a better experience for future guests.

You can't reach the front desk, not enough towels, fridge wasn't working, broken dresser, floor was dirty, AC wasn't working, just to name a few. The hotel needs a whole makeover and more staff.

The kids enjoyed the water park immensely. The roller skating rink and the indoor miniature golf was an added bonus to our stay. I did wish there was a mini conversion or eatery in the lobby for late night snacks, coffee , etc...I didn't want to use the vending machine.

First timer, after checking in i was given my keys for 2 rooms. No directions for the rooms. Get to my rooms, it was any toliet tissue in either rooms, no wash clothes or towels, just hand towels. I called housekeeping and the front desk no answer. After traveling with 2 children that was good! There was children running throughout the lobby being chased by security. Overall we went for the water park, that was ok. I wouldn't recommend staying here!! Housekeeping didn't clean our rooms, we were there for 2 nights.

Good afternoon, my stay with my family was not what I expected since I was charged $150 if I played at the casino, but it was not working and the person who assisted me said it would be refunded at the end of my stay. and it is the date that I have not received any refund, my name is Alexandrino Celestino My stay was Wednesday April 24 to 26 in room 1487. I have been trying to get in touch but for some reason the phone just rings and no one answers

If you get a renovated room you are good but if you get an outdated room the lighting is bad overall it’s ok would not stay again would visit the water park agin but will not stay at the showboat.

This was the worst stay ever they messed our rooms was messed up they didn’t give us the room that I paid for there was a shooting my kids was in the lobby and got ran over from the crowd running it was horrible and honestly I would like a refund

They did the rooms over which are very nice but the beds are so low and the pillows are so small. Due to the new activities there are many children I wouldn't recommend if you are looking to go to bed early because the noise of the kids running up and down the hallways all night. Which is not the kids fault because this is a kid friendly hotel so it makes sense they are having fun 😂.

During our stay there was an incident. not sure if it were a stabbing or shooting in the lobby. It happened moments before us entering the lobby. Set a very unsafe feeling for our stay. nothing was communicated by the staff.

I love the arcade. I have a young child and figured we would stay here. There was no soap in the women’s bathrooms near the arcade. There is only half a roll of toilet paper with no backup in the room. I was told I would get a text when my room was ready… that never happened. Don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

I use to like the showboat but this time I went, the Property looked run down. Rooms smelled like cigarettes. Shower curtain was thin and falling apart. Water was coming out brown. You would think with the new water park, they would try to take care of the hotel a bit better. Looks like they just abandoned it.

They need to better service the rooms ours had no toilet paper upon checking in there were multiple complaints about bed bugs in the rooms lack of wash cloths and the incidental fee is more costly than the actual stay in the room no micro wave and the food expense is astronomical.

The rooms and run down, my bed was broken the coach and huge stains on it. The front desk never picks up the F….ing phone. Had to ask 3 times for towels then we got them at 11:30pm, not a good time to be getting towels. I know the hotel is dog friendly but when a dog is in the room across from you and will not stop barking for 2 days!! We had barely any sleep the entire visit. This hotel needs better management and more staff to help the clients coming and going. I will never stay here again even if was for free. Everywhere we went in the hotel we could’ve gotten high because that is how much people smoke marijuana all day. For the money we spent on the stay I was very disappointed and pissed off, it was a waste of my money. My wife was upset the entire weekend because we took this trip to have some time away from everything after we lost our son. This entire trip was depressing and stressful.

The elevator was not working when I got there. We had to use the steps to get to our floor. No staff personnel was near the elevator to let us know to take an elevator for a different tower and walk over. When we got to the room and tried to freshen up. There was no water in the room. Once the water came back it was brown. It had to run for a while.

Arrived at property to check in and they tell me they overbooked and can’t honor my reservation. It is 2am and I just drove from out of state with children. Then got a parking ticket from parking in self park after they directed me to park there for the free parking for water park. Staff has no idea what they are doing and customer service was terrible. The property was disgusting

Everything is outdated. From the moment we checked in- could not make a phone call cause the phone in our room did not work or have a calling list, the website also showed there was a swimming pool in the hotel, there is not, the water park closed at 8 we couldn’t check in until 5 and there are no discounts for a hour of play, the expect our family to pay $500 to play in the water park for 1 hour after we have already booked to stay here, and the best yet, our toilet is leaking

the fact that we stayed there for four days and not one time did the house keepers come and clean when u call the front desk they never answer i had to go downstairs and tell them and even then nobody came

I wish i could give this hotel no stars. First issue i had was that the room i was given had a broken lock . Then the second room i was given the aircondioner was not working. Then there was a shooting/stabbing in the arcade were my child was. When i asked for a refund to leave to another hotel they declined and said if i leave i would just lose my money I had booked for two days

This property has horrific dining options. The mattress in the room was cheap and low to the floor. I woke up in back pain. No hairdryer in the bathroom and my son and I had to wait for hours to get extra towels and wash clothes because the water park doesn’t provide any. The racetrack wait time was about 2 hours long. What kind of water park doesn’t have towels. They make millions at this place. Overall a waste of time, resources and money. I don’t plan on staying here again and wouldn’t suggest anyone else stay here either. Go to Tropicana or Caesar’s. Showboat hotel is trash 👎

The place looked a bit run down. The AC in our room took awhile before it started to work. It took 2 days to cool down the room. Prior to going I tried to call the front desk and no answer and once getting there tried to call the front desk and again no answer.
