Clean, basic, no-frills "bed for the night" place.
The room was clean. The shower worked and there was ample hot water. The bedsheets were clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was comfortably warm and draft free despite it being below freezing outside. All the appliances worked (coffee maker, microwave, fridge, TV, internet). However, the room showed minor signs of disrepair - water marks and a hole on the ceiling, severely scraped floor round some of the furniture, masking tape on the mirror that was shielding a splintered frame. There was a long black hair amongst the towels. The bath had been painted and this was worn off in places. The bathroom sink did not drain well. There was a minor issue with the door wind-seal and the TV signal (poor first night, ok second night). Breakfast started too late for me (08.00am). There was noone to check out with when I left at 07.00am and the reception area was locked. Overall, this was an OK stay and represented fair value for the economy price I paid ($176 for two nights), and the minimal time I spent in the room. It was peacefully quiet, but this was the dead of winter. If I had been travelling with a family member, I'd likely have gone elsewhere and paid more, but for myself alone, it was fine.

They charge your card first thing in the morning of the day of arrival, i walked into the lobby where the manager was being very rude to a guest who had a problem with their property. Literally put a crappy ackward situation. The manager that works here is very rude to their guests and will not be staying here ever again it doesnt look anything like the pictures and its barely taken care of one of the worse experences i have had at a hotel

The Motel is very dated compared to the photo. It’s a motel where people live full time. It smelled like bug spray, open trash cans in walkways, broken dead bolts, cats all around I really felt unsafe. Very disappointed Expedia didn’t check it out prior to advertising it.

Fair to midland.
There was a faulty hallway light. Wouldn't stay on very long. A multi plug socket had a bad center outlet. You had to switch out the plugs to get what you wanted to work. Only cereal for breakfast and only to 10:30. However it was relatively cheap.

I picked the place so my coworker and i could grab a little breakfast before going to work. We went out to the lobby a bit after 7 to find nothing was out. They just started to set up. Ive never stayed where breakfast wasnt set up by 6 or 630... wont stay again

Old but clean
The property is older; expect aged rooms and not everything being obvious such as plugs and all. With THAT said the rooms were DEFINITELY clean and comfortable ... relatively comfortable. The beds were clean and comfortable. The pool was clean. TV and refrigerator worked. We had no mold which was incredible; we stayed in newer places with nasty mold in the bathroom! The draw is the price and availability. The people are nice, also! We wish they would update this place as it would be great!

First I picked the pay at hotel option they called me around 10:00 am demanding it to be paid or my room reservation would be cancelled so I paid it. It was dirty the room wasn’t cleaned it smelled horribly I wasn’t even in there 10 minutes. They had bed bugs and they didn’t even refund. My room was 134.

AWFULL. The room look dirty i even look to make sure their was no bed bugs. Dont even waste your money. I check and and went to bed after i shower and as soon as i was up the next morning i showered and check out. Never going there again.

Run as fast as you can from this place!
This was by far the worst place i have ever stayed. The room was absolutely disgusting. Our room had a jacuzzi tub. When we turned the jets on, the water quickly had brown slime/foam all over. The shower had littlw pressure and would go from hot,cold,hot,cold. The sink area had ants everywhere. When we alerted the staff, they gave me a bottle of disinfectant to put in the drain (to kill the ants) and a ripped up rag so i could clean the area. (Not my job!) Our tv was broken. The bath towels had huge holes in them. Washrags had colored stains on them. The pool is the worst. There was so much junk in the pool (pine needles, bugs, leaves) it also has soft spots on the bottom of the pool. The ladder in the deep end has steps attached to the wall of the pool, only the top step is not attached.

It's not perfect but I like this motel.
The room was clean and bug free. Its a no frills place, nothing fancy, which is what we wanted. It was quiet and plain. I didnt trust the pool. It was our 3rd year there and we'll be back next year.

This motel is a work in progress. It has potential but not up to the current American chain type motel standard. The beds were very good, with ironed sheets, and the room was clean. Issues were a light bulb out in the sink area, no mirror there, rusted bath faucets, yellow water, a cracked plastic padded toilet seat with no hygiene band, a broken door security in room lock, and a generally questionable clientele sitting outside their rooms on broken or dirty chairs smoking. For the seashore area in the summer this hotel was more reasonable however it was disconcerting to see the rate change online to approx 35% less than we paid the day after we arrived. It was also difficult to cancel the reservation for the next night. We decided to leave early and go home.
