This was the worst hotel i have EVER stayed and will never stay again. I booked a one bedroom king for 4 days and house keeping never came not even once. The first day i went to complain and was told the policy is every 3 to 4 days they service rooms. We had to take out our own trash and change our own towels n shhet the entire stay. The hotel after the front entrance is entirely dated and smells. Our floor smell like a fish market the entire stay. And then it started to mix with smoke as well. The furniture was horrible and hard. So uncomfortable. Pillows on bed were the worst. I had no good night sleep. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!. Even the staff when i was checking out agreed with us and said the policy changes post pandemic make the hotel not worth staying.

Literally would never ever stay at this hotel again. The only reason it’s getting a 2-star is because of the front desk person and how bad they felt. I was checking in which took 1 hour because they only had 1 person working and there was a huge line. I go up to my room and it is TRASHED. Blankets bundled up in a big ball on the bed, trash on the floor, lamp on the couch, slits in the couches, and trash on the carpet in living space. I booked the suite because I was going to be here for a while for business. I took pictures, went downstairs and the front desk lady felt horrible. She called housekeeping and they said “we didn’t know” and then took another 45 minutes to get a room. Then, I got a room and it was downgraded from what I had. I didn’t feel like fighting it again. I went to tell the front desk lady in the morning and she said let’s move you. I said it’s fine I don’t want to put you through a hassle but after 3 hours of a dog barking and people pulling on my door handles and making me feel unsafe she moved me to the other side of the hotel. After that move, my last 3 days were safe and comfortable. What a huge difference in rooms and accommodations. Please be aware if you are booking Sonesta suites or Sonesta whatever the other one is because you WILL notice a huge difference.

Pros: This hotel is convenient, there are many shopping and restaurant options in the area. Plus it is close to the highway. They have a restaurant onsite and a bar. The room we stayed in was large and spacious and there was a small stove and microwave. Cons: The water in the shower does not get hot, it is luke warm at best. Our room smelled like weed and cigarettes and I do not smoke. Also, I would wake up in the middle of the night from the smell of second-hand smoke coming from the room next to me. I stayed 4 nights they came to clean our room once. I had to ask for housekeeping to bring fresh towels. We also had a pull out sofa in the living room with no fresh linens. I had to ask for that too. I am not sure why they wouldn’t just keep this in the room. Also, any request takes forever because they are “short-staffed.” After my experience, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel.

I usually love staying here because of its convenient location and fair pricing. But this trip was terrible. I got a room with a pull out couch for my kids to sleep on. It didn't come with linen on it. So I called multiple times and even went down there to get linen, did not get what I need on the first night. They only had one lady working and it seems like everyone else was having issues with their room as well. We didnt have enough towels and when we asked for it the next day, room service just left it on our counter, not in a neatly manner and left. They didnt even tidy up our room for us at all. I was going to leave a tip for the room service people like I usually do, but I'm glad I didnt this time. The whole building smelled like marijuana, it was terrible. There were people arguing at 2-3 am super loud to where we can't sleep. Early morning there was people doing lawn work by our room that woke us up. We had two nights of terrible sleep and we were exhausted by the time we checked out. The pull out bed had different color stains on it, it was disgusting. This place looks like it should be really nice from the outside, but they need a full makeover. Poorly managed and ran. The gym equipments was mostly broken, and the pool and jacuzzi area was dirty and stinky. I really hope they fix all of the issues here as they are in a great location and should be doing well. So disappointing.

The room I stayed in was on the 8th floor. My first complaint I have is that the room takes a while to have HOT water. You have to wait about 8 minutes to get the water (sink and tub )to run and heat up to use at an appropriate temperature. I also noticed there were quite a new Asian Beetles crawling on the walls, curtains and ceiling of the room. They can bite and resemble a ladybug but aren’t ladybugs. I killed about 5. That made my stay challenging.

The first room we went to was pretty bad. It smelled like very old damp wet dog. There was a dead spider on the sealing, black stains on the carpet, and stains on the curtains. It made us feel very uncomfortable. After ten minutes we went back down to the desk and asked to change our room. The front desk was very accomdating and gave us a new room! Great service here. The new room was better. You felt like you were walkng into a hotel room and not someones dingy old basment. The showers were awful however. Very low flow and most of the time we were lucky to get warmer water. The amenities in the hotel were bad as well. No coffee station, no shower caps or toothbrushes. Just a bar of soap to wash your hands and no little bottles of shampoo or body wash. There are industridial dispensaries in theshower felt like a downgrade of the dollar store. The "sound proof" room was laughable becase we could hear our neighbors phone ringing and ever word he said on the phone. We could even hear the replies of the person he was on the phone with because im guessing it was speaker. There is a door in the bedrrom that went straight to the other peoles room with a twist lock which im sure is standard but makes you feel very unsettled. The furniture was old, thin board like leather couch that looked like it was there since the 90s as well as the carpet. The pictures are the best thing about the hotel. The complementary breakfast buffet was nice. But honestly I would never stay there again.

Staff was very friendly/the lobby area very nice…seems to be a mix of old and new…this is one of those conference hotels which is fine…I believe the nicer rooms are in the main building closer to the lobby and the older rooms are the suite side/smaller building down hallway of conference rooms behind the lobby…the elevator while keycard operated was an older elevator with cheap wallpaper put up to mask the old walls but the cracked buttons and worn out brass/gold are a dead giveaway along with the not so smooth ride…I had a king suite with pullout couch…the toilet did not flush and I was unable to use room phone to call down to front so I had to use my cell, someone was sent up within 30 min to install new bulb/flush handle, that was appreciated…the tv had seen better days it had streaks going through the screen…older shower with mildew tiles/old repairs/rust on door frame, but water was hot…the kitchenette had everything you need to cook/eat with, you can tell they had not been used or replaced in a while as they were covered in dust…the coffee maker had not been cleaned in sometime either, there was old coffee residue in the top and lime scale in water fill tank and pot…the pullout couch was a cloth/pleather, hated it but it’s whatever…older furniture not super dated…the bed was comfy/sheets smelled freshly laundered…booked room for sleeps up to 4, but was upgraded (room w/pullout) to accommodate original booking, 1/2 deposit charged was fair considering…ok for a night/two

Not my favorite place to stay.
The Hotel was ok. The room was fine. We had a suite and there was only 2 plates 2 cups 2 of everything. The room was clean. It had coffee but no coffee maker. The breakfast was nothing out of this world. My issue was they were not wiping down tables after each use. So it wasnt super clean. The area that it is at is not in the best of areas. It was close to where we were going which was Stone Mountain. It was not bad but I wont stay there again.

The hotel staff was friendly, but the hallway had a strong marijuana odor. The noise level was high until 2 a.m. We found hair on the pillows and in the sink. Additionally, the bathroom was running low on toilet paper.
